So in my dance production class we are putting on a show near the end of March, and the choreographers (including me) get to make their own piece, whether it be a solo or duet or whatever. I personally love to do solos, and when my teacher said that we should dance to something that means a lot to us personally, I knew who I was going to dance to. Ayu of course! I'm mainly into lyrical ballet, which is like ballet except not as strict, there's a lot more movement to it. So after debating what I should dance to, Key ~eternal tie ver.~, teddy bear, or what, I chose to dance to Memorial address, because it's a song with a lot of emotion in it, and I can incorporate jazz into the rock parts. I have this white lyrical dress to dance to, and I have these fake irises (you know, the long white ones you always see at funerals) that is the center point of the dance; whenever the song refers to the person who died I look over at the flowers, dance around them, whatever fits with the song.
So when the show is in production and we're taking pictures I shall post them here for all to see! Maybe even someone can film it and put it up here somehow.
Just thought you guys should all know my plans. Everyone in my class thinks it's weird I'm dancing to a Japanese song, except the Japanese people in my class.
