Max Matsuura's letter on Ayu's official HP 12 July 2005

Looks like a pretty good translation. Lemme see if I can clear up the bolded areas:

...It's sad that no one takes evaluations as much as doing it is doing it.

...Something needs to be done about that. [Kore kara wa....]

1st part - I think he's trying to say that it's sad if these writers are unable to assess the things they write about (weird sentence, I know, lol)

2nd part - Something needs to be done about that --> But it should be expected around Ayu.

People unable to read Japanese/Chinese will not fully get a sense of what Max is saying. He doesn't just call the newspapers "newspaper", he calls them "worthless papers" as if nothing they say is credible (he's going on the attack here).
