I think MISIA still holds a record that Ayu hasn't beaten & most likely ever will. MISIA has the best selling japanese remix album "MISIA remix 2000 Little Tokyo".

Kuu can outsell Chemistry, even if Kindgom ends up selling only half of the amount Black Cherry sold.

MISIA has not lost her fans or gone bland. Her new album is gearing up to be among her best work, actually. What happened is that MISIA stopped promoting her music and pandering to what her label wanted. She has moved away from her formulaic R&B and focused more on making what pleases her. Her concert tours still record among the highest ticket sales in the country and she has a very dedicated fan-base.

I do like MISIA a lot, and EIGht WORLD is an awesome album. Mars & Roses is the album where MISIA's music just lost it's appeal & huge sales. but ASCENSION & EIGth WORLD are definitely good again

btw MISIA has never really promoted. she doesn't do many interviews and stuff, never has. and I don't think she has ever pandered to any label, since she actually has changed her record label twice already. BGM -> Rhythmedia Tribe (Avex associate) -> BGM
