Nope! The Japanese wear Kimonos in the street! I saw several girls with Kimonos on when I was in Japan

Naaah, she was going somewhere. There were two other pictures with her and a bunch of other regular (non-gyaru) girls in kimono at whatever event/occasion she was going to.
