It may have not been Ayumi herself, but seen this way, maybe Porta didin't take the sample himself, plus, it should be checked if he mentions her on his album...

Yeah, I was about to mention that. Ayu didn't do it herself, but taskinst is a blatant ripoff of that hoobastank song. I really love taskinst though. Also, there was Walking Proud = kinki kids song. But I imagine she would have had to have gotten permission at least for that one.

That's the thing, I can't remember which. It wasn't a single though. Someone posted audio comparing the two and the vocal melodies were indeed quite similar. But since this is Japan and it's Kinki Kids, a lot of people would have noticed, that's why I'm thinking they cut some kind of deal or something.

I should let you know that the intro of Free&Easy is a sample from another song,but I think it was legal.
