kaori please don't harass me, i'm trying to get info on a band that i don't reallly know about, i just didn't like them before. it's kind of like you and kumi.

so anyway thanks beauty and karen for the recommendations. i'll look them up and listen. i like that song happiness or whatever i heard before, i think that was when i downloaded their album last year

Lol. i was actually listening to all of Arashi's songs first before deciding to post something here . i want to get to know their songs first and also get to know them since i'm quite new to them. so, who's the most popular member in Arashi? i heard it's MatsuJun. correct me if i'm wrong.

yeah I love Happiness it was 1 of the 1st few recommendations that I was recommended last year

well MatsuJun is no doubt the most recongised member in the group

in terms of popularity , all 5 of them are equally popular in their own respective right imo which's a rarity in the jpop music scene especially since it's a boyband that you're talking about in here

they're not like KAT-TUN where it's usually Akame & not TaNaka & let alone UedaMaru that gets an equal share of the limelight

ohhh.. i always thought that when you're in a group, there is the tendency that a certain member/pairings would be more popular than the rest. this actually happens all the time in the kpop scene.

it's always like that when comes to a group but so far ARASHI's the only group I realised that all of them are equally popular which's very rarely seen

I would say that Matsujun is. For a long time he was by far the most popular/well known member, but these days the other members are quickly catching up to him. Sakurai in particular. Which is a good thing imo. Gives the group much more balance and noteriety if all the members are known.

yeah MatsuJun was & acting in Gokusen 1 , Hana Yori Dango 1/2 & eventually the final movie & then BAMBINO ! boosted his & the band's popularity a LOT

nowadays the rest have played catch up with him .

Sakurai - hosting stint on NEWSZERO

Aiba - his zoo show lmao

Nino - great acting skills in dramas & movies

Ohno - his butai & in recent times acting . He was amazing/superb in his debut drama Maou & so's Uta no Onii-san

I have seen both his dramas so

that & fishing too with NEWS's Shige LOL & claywork haha

fishing - that's kinda boring to me. Lol. anyways, i've watch Aiba zoo show. he's so funny. i never knew that Nino acted in Letters from Iwo Jima. i always thought the character he played was kinda cute and wanted to find more abt him but never did cause i've always been procrastinating all the time. Lol.

Aiba - ahaha he's a natural with animals xD even though I know that he's scared of kangaroos after 1 of them kicked him apparently

Nino - he did & somemore I think he's the 1st Johnny to have acted in a big budget hollywood movie

I remembered in HEYx3 , they were talking about it & he signed his name on the movie pamphlet for the newscaster Ohkura after Nino brought the pamphlet home from France when he went to attend the movie premiere during the Cannes Festival movie screening I believe

& then Downtown's Matsumoto said that Nino signed the word baka across Ken Watanabe's name which caused Hamada to whack his head

That's what I love about Arashi, they started off with uneven popularity - even in their junior days - but now they all share and have their own immense popularity. That's so cool to me.
