Perez Hilton has picked up the girls. What is up with this guy?

I hate that we have to wait until May 17th to see their performance. I really hope it's good since the song hasn't done anything for me.

the song is pretty good but i still think they are way over hyped...like the song is good but not ~that good~. i'm having trouble liking their image too! interested to see in what they will release next

im so glad Sandara hit it off good in korea. her career here in the PH ended abruptly.

CL is my favorite, but has been for a while.. i had my eye on her & bom & sandara when they were trainees. she is the most unique and the coolest imo

she was on some reality show and became popular then she went back to korea but then came back to the PH since she couldn't find any work. no one really cared for her blah blah

They did pretty good for a debut. Dara was hard to hear, but the others I heard clearly but the personality and stage presence was there. I was really looking to the performance to push this song thru and they did it. Really looking forward to future performances.

it was pretty good for a debut performance, nothing amazing tho. the intro was better than the perf lol.

but.. is it just me or did bom sound horrible (at least compared to what she's capable of)? i was so surprised when she started singing.

hmm it's alright for a debut perf. i was kinda expecting a bit better though. but they're new so they got time to improve.

Bom didn't sound horrible. She sounded really shaky at first, but I think she did a lot better towards the end.

Sandara was horrible. But I expected it.

Minji was bad too because she didn't know how to sing into the mic.

And even though I hate CL, she did great.

I did not like that performance at all. They sounded terrible. Maybe it was first performance jitters, IDK.

The performance was good but I expected more. The Intro was more exciting than the performance was. They really need to work on vocals when performing live because they weren't that strong and the weakest link out of all of them would be Sandara.

Apparently the debut performance was recorded 6 times. So I guess at some point they got tired and their vocals suffered. Some fans have posted audio files of the recordings but I don't hear a difference.

2NE1 with an “upgraded performance” for their 2nd stage with ‘Fire’

2NE1 will have their 2nd stage with ‘Fire’ on SBS Inkigayo on 24th May.

For their activities, YG has announced that they will control on the group’s performances. As a newcomer, they will only perform once on stage a week.

The group is said to be one of the most anticipated newcomer group of the year. Already before their debut, they have been in the spotlight for their collaborate CM song ‘Lollipop’ with group Big Bang.

And for their debut stage on SBS Inkigayo on 17th May, they have the show’s viewerhip shoot up to a record of 14.93%.

2NE1’s 1st stage last week was a good one because they had great sound systems as installed by the broadcast program staff. And this week, they will also be back with great sound system for their performance, prepared beforehand of the telerecording.

And to review their first stage, the girls received advice from Big Bang on how they should hold their mics and also they had Yang Hyun Seok himself to rearrange their choreography.

Different choreography and hopefully better audio. Not completely happy about 1 stage a week rule but I see why they did it. I was hoping to see a couple more performances this week.
