nami tamaki "rip off " ayu for a song ?

Thanks goticayu for starting a thread which will turn into nothing but a bashing Nami Tamaki thread. Remember Ayu isn't always original with her melodies, Next Level is ripped off from another song. Also you can't always blame it on the artist but the composer/record company.

And reason barely sounds like evolution.

Lol. Seems like there are a lot of Nami Tamaki fans here? I'm not bashing her, but let me just say, there's a difference between being inspired and flat out copying. Result is one of the latter, lol. For one, it's not just an, 'oh, that kinda sounds like that one song....' No. It sounds exactly like a slower version of UNITE! Which if she wants to sample a song, that's fine. But she clearly tried to pull this off as her own. On the other hand, as I said in the thread about Jolin Tsai, it's probably not her fault. Nami Tamaki isn't even as big as Jolin Tsai, who I doubt would have authority over much of her career. So I call the rip-off, but I don't blame Tamaki for it.
I didn't see that evolution similarity, though... Actually, this is the only Nami Tamaki song I've heard that sounds like a rip-off. And I've heard her whole discography, by the way.

JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR :

you sure dont know anything about me. you have no rigth to say that .dont talk without knowing. as i said i like both artist and i own almost all her cds .its not because im a fan that a have to praize a 100 percent of the artist that i like . when they do something i like i say it , if they do something that i dislike i will give my opinion about it . that is all.

now i will agree on one point . yes composer are to criticize too but i believe sometimes artist are aware its a cover or a sample . especially if the artist in question is ayumi . she enough well known in japan for people to recognize her voice and her songs ( that they like her or not )

and yes ayu is not always original on her music or costums (cf madonna) but she clearly stated that madonna was her inspiration and give the credit to the artist when its not her song . ( i totally loved her cover haru yo )

lol, yeah it is kinda similar. It's not just the melody in the verse though, it's some of the instruments in the song, the arrangement and the structure. XD

huh? nami can't sing, you must be hearing her very old lives, in her first year she's weak singing live, but she had grown so much better during her second year, hear her ballads, she's very good in them, especially lives. it's such a pity that her record company went too much into the 'anime-ish style', or she deserve more ballads.

I like Nami Tamaki very much back in the Gundam Seed days. ^^ I like her even before Ayu. Both are similar very similar, but Unite! came out first and is composed by "CREA" So leave or take as you might. I can see why people getting mad because it's CREA~ it's not just another normal song.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why CREA stop composing? LOL
