OMG.. even tho the hair is different than the one on the booklet, it does give me a First Love's hikki feeling. And I really want her to grow her hair this time, after seeing her having short hair for like 3 yrs.

Another post!! Wow she enjoys being poked with needles.

Translation for this post
Spoiler:

(∇≦♭)

Yesterday for the first time!! I had blood taken from my fingertip!!

This is FUN really - - - - !!

It was done at the clinic I went to to have a health checkup, to determine the active oxygen content of me If I remember it right. Blood was taken from my thumb, for some reason!

Just look at this tiny square shaped bandaid you put after injection or blood drawing, which looks so ill-fitted there (lol)

Obviously it's not designed for the use to put on fingertips (lol)

They pricked my thumb with a pen-like thing that has a needle, then they wrung blood out of me and scooped it up little by little with a dropper-like thing. It went that way.

Whew~that was a very fun experience for me, a huge lover of blood drawing
ヾ(*´∀`*)ノyay yayヾ(*´∀`*)ノyay yay

Before that I also had a normal blood draw . . . it was such a fun.

After all was over I explained this staff girl who accompanied me to the clinic what they did, she was like "Eeeeeeeek!" (lol)

"It-It's like, your eyes are glaring Hikaru-san" that's what she said (lol)

Maybe my face looked like this..。゚+.(・∀・)゚+.゚

I wonder why I love blood drawing this much . . . I heard I've always enjoyed injections as well since I was a baby . . .

Perhaps it is because

I am a pervert?

o(●゚ー゚●)=○)゚O゚).。・
Don't say that

Or perhaps because? adrenaline kicks in? when I see blood and such.

I might be an adrenaline-addicted.

Every time I go to the amusement park with friend and hop on scary rides they say "You're laughing hard all the time during the ride and even after that your eyes are glaring which is scary, your pupils become so dilated"(-⊆-;)

It's not that I like to go to the hospital but I'm happy to go to the hospital as I wanna have my blood drawn . . . to be exact I wanna go there just to have my blood drawn even if there's nothing to examine . . . am I borked?

Aww sorry for you all who don't like this sort of talk!

This elder lady nurse who drew my blood yesterday, she said "We're in the generation of your mother, Fuji Keiko san~ *smiles*" and asked me if she's doing all right, what's been up to her, which made a nice chat during the blood drawining.

Every time I have a chance to talk to old mens and ladies for the first time, the talk 100% comes to my mother. Wow. I'm so proud of her.

Translation from yesterday
Spoiler:
Quote:
Thank you for lots of ideas

Looks like yesterday they were watching my form from morning till night! But seems like they weren't there today, perhaps because today is not a holiday any more. There are various types of jobs out there, really.

Never mind! Just hold your head up! - I try to think that way but you find it hard to stroll out somewhere if you're completely in a siege, they're even watching the backdoor(´‐ω‐`)

Not only do they take my photos but also they tail me, which makes my fear grow, instead of making me feel good(´‐ω‐`)

Well that's their work anyway. They might be doing it on their own will, or against it.

So - thank you for sending your replies to my request to send any fun ideas or solution to this over to me (thank you for spending your time on my jokes in other words) (lol)

Here let me show a couple of ideas I really liked.

Okay first of all . . .

・How about calling for their moms and ask them to persuade those guys through a megaphone?

. . .

( ´,_ゝ`)=3 *chuckles*

Believe me this has a delayed effect on you!

Oh wait a minute wait a minute, it's me who's locking myself in the house (lol)

Another one is . . .

・That should be so cool should you explode a camera by gazing it, like Piccolo did

"It should be, indeed" were the words that came to my mind at first but imagining my gaze exploding a camera has come to make me laugh for some reason.

(This just might be that I'm not that good at Dragon Ball, especially at Piccolo(lol))

Next one says maybe I could go out in a Kuroko cosplay or Chonmage wig . . .

Well I'll keep your comments for future refere

I won't, never! (´Д`;)

I wrap this up on my own, though I'm the very one who asked you to response

Well I think it's OK

Good night~ヾ(*´∀`*)ノ

Really? I thought Utada released a Single from Exodus like that Summer before releasing "Be My Last" that fall. Or maybe you're talking about from the time she started Exodus and not from the time she ended Exodus. Either way, we're getting to that time where if she keeps with that same pattern, we should be expecting something soon. I'm not though.

(Seriously, she must have gotten back to Japan and forgot she lost all that weight in America. Those pants must GO! (Like Her American Career))

I have some theories on Utada's long hiatus.

1. She figured it was time for another one of her obligatory super long breaks after the sales of "This Is The One" so that her next release will blow up again in sales.

2. She's waiting for her hair to grow out fully so that her image is all set for when she re-emerges to promote her new music.

Because if you ask me, Utada already has some songs ready to put out there. Meaning she has songs that are already written, with tracks produced and arranged already, or even already sung and recorded and ready to ship out with her sitting back just waiting for the right time. Whether the right time is when she has waited so long, fans are just starving and willing to eat up whatever she puts out, even non fans who'll just buy her stuff because they feel they're suppose to or when her image is complete again or whatever other reason.

I know I've said I'm use to and fully acquainted with Utada's long absences and I've even shunned some members who have whined too loudly, but I'm about to become a hypocrite. Full Fledged Hypocrite. Watch me.

I'm so agree to this. Have you ever thought that she may have written, arranged and recorded songs for her next 10 albums? lol. I know that's an exaggeration but, who knows anyway? Except ofcourse but our own hikki

Well Utada did have "Teiku 5" ready for "ULTRA BLUE", but waited until "HEART STATION" to get the lyrics right so it's possible she has some songs that she made for "HEART STATION" that she never released or for any of her other Albums.

If that's the case, there better be a good reason because "HEART STATION" could have used some more NEW tracks.

So yesterday I was watching tv and I heard Hikki's Sanctuary play in a Kingdom of Hearts commercial. It took me like 5 minutes for it to sink in and then i was "HOLY CRAP I JUST HEARD UTADA IN A AMERICAN COMMERCIAL!".

^Yeah! It's for the new "Kingdom Hearts" DS Game. I haven't seen it yet, but I really want to for nostalgia purposes going back to when the "Kingdom Hearts II" Commercial was airing. I'd just stop and drop everything and gaze in a trance at the commercial, more for the song than for the visuals, but it was great. What channel did you have it on?

Oh hey! Thanks. You're right, for the most part I just wasn't here for the Summer. Back now though. For better or for worse.

Here's a link to Utada's MSN Interview concerning her "HEART STATION" Album.
It just may be my favorite Interview of hers that she did for "HEART STATION."

Not only does it touch on the whole "Teiku 5" thing, but also the connection between "Fight The Blues" and "BLUE" as speculated earlier in this thread and "Celebration" being the song with the temporary title, "Yakekuso" if people are still confused about that.

Beneath the interview is another MSN Interview just about her Single "HEART STATION/Stay Gold."

Enjoy.

MSN Interview - "HEART STATION"

Also, this is completely separate, but here's a snippet from a fan's review on Utada that I really liked:

"Tracks that stimulate not only the ears, but all the senses and one's psyche are what make Utada Hikaru stand out from other big-name J-pop artists: she has the ability to conjure up great sales and legitimate credibility because of her unmatched music prowess (she does, after all, sing, write, and produce all of her songs on her own using her own tools). When it comes to true artists with such mainstream ubiquity, Utada Hikaru is unmatched. Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, and Kumi Koda may have their own respective strengths as the other female high priestesses in the J-pop game, but not one of them have displayed as much sophistication and utterly pure talent as Utada has all these years.

That being said, Utada's more experimental pop leanings may come dangerously close to becoming lounge music or too ambient for consumption (probably inching towards new age-y stuff), but thankfully she's still got some pop chops in her to remain savvy with what the people want. She does, after all, continue to garner big sales numbers (something that can't be stressed enough - she's always one of the highest-selling, if not, the highest-selling female J-pop artist in every calendar year her albums come out): a testament to her ability to find something that connects with the masses. This fact only shows that no one has it better than her in J-pop and in world-wide pop music in general: she's at the point of her growth as an artist that she can do whatever the hell she wants, but still get away with it with flying colors. Many artists from all over the world would definitely want to be in her shoes. What more, she garners all this critical acclaim with such modesty: a bonus in pleasing the Japanese tradition of grace, subtlety, and peacefulness when conducting your manner in public. The only bad thing Utada can do at this point is to abruptly stop making music. Only then will she truly be betraying such an adoring and well-deserved audience. Japan will always be open ears to its most regal of pop princesses."

Well... before choosing the final nominees, the critics that vote for the Grammys makes a list of possible nominees (and the final ones are taken from this list). I know she will never win the prize or even make it into the final nominees, but Utada appears on the list sometimes...^^

Album of the year: This is the one - Utada (502)

Best female pop vocal performance: Come back to me - Utada (145)
http://www.grammy.com/members/entry/entry/pop.pdf

Best pop vocal album: This is the one - Utada (189)
