I know that the recording companies turn in nominations. Then a group narrows it down to the final list. If it wasn't IDF, then it was Universal, but my money's on IDF. They(grammys) have to vote on quality alone. So regardless of how bad it did on they charts, they have to vote for their best.

I just don't know the motivation behind it. Is it because they think the album is good enough to win or something else? If they believe it, where are the new singles? Where's the promotion?

In the Gamespot Review of "Kingdom Hearts 358/2" for the Nintendo DS, Utada got a mention. Here it is:

Utada knows exactly what she's doing.

We were informed earlier this year, back in Spring I believe, that Utada was back working on her Japanese music again. I highly doubt she's still working on that same thing now that she was then. That's why we all thought that we were getting a new Evangelion Theme Song.

I wonder if Utada had still had her long hair when she got the "Stay Gold" Asience Tie-In, if she could have been featured in the commercials and been like a longterm spokesperson for them like Namie is for Vidal Sassoon.

That would have been nice. Even if she did have her long hair then, she probably wouldn't have wanted to do it anyways though.

It'd be nice though if Utada had like a longterm contractual promotional Tie-In deal like some other artists have and featured in commercials.

LOL She has an amazing voice I think she has more powerful voice than Ayu and Namie together. But Hikki is still on my 3rd place, and Ayu on 1st. Because Hikki isn't even a bit creative as Ayu.
