you need to open a paypal claim against your seller and ask for refund. even if he doesnt exist anymore on ebay his email is still register with paypal . write in the claim that he sold you a bootleg and it will go in your favor .

hmm. if the seller said it's OS version, the region code should be code 3, code 2 is only for japan versions. that is a obvious mistake.

ebay is actually quite risky, but safe if you read the seller's feedback before purchasing too. there are safe sellers there, i had bought many cds there without any problem.

you can try "threaten" the seller that you will give him negative feedback if the seller dont want refund you. But if the seller still ignoring, just give him the negetive feedback and report your case to ebay.

lacus i dont agree with you about the feedbcak part . i saw many seller with a 100 percent feedback power seller selling bootleg and promotional cds , same thing for brand name bag .people think 100 percent is safe when it is not.yes 100 percent is better than one that will have some kind of negative feedback but it doesnt mean he will sell only original. too many people get fooled by it and buy fake brand handbag because its a power seller and they dont know anything to authenticate the brand ....

what drive me crazy are those shops that receive promotional cd for free to put it for people to listen in the store and actually resell all those cds as regular "japanese press" for a bit cheapper making big profite on those free goodies . this is not honest !

as i said earlier, my advice avoid ebay. if you wanna shop for japanese cds this forum is a great source many people are reselling their personal collection for a good price and you know here you won't find booklet (or it will be mention as one )
not only ahs but other forum allow people to post their selling thread , those are a great source to check and when this is not enough , livejournal have TONS of add ( you can find pretty much everything there)
and ALWAYS request pictures of the cds before to buy , if you did you would have notice the mistake . pictures say it all .

We are in the Hong Kong China and we do international shipping. Due to oversea shipment, we only use standard flat rate shipping. Other delivery methods are not available, I am sorry. It takes 10-20 days for delivery on average.

nanakopy i agree with you it sounds fishy . the worse i have seen is those seller that put location japan but ship from china and cheat the ebay users .

yes,for your information,if the seller is from HK,they will use hong kong post...
as a remind for everyone next time...please check what courier company they use and google it if the information the seller wrote on ebay is the same country or place with the courier company or not.

no..i don't mean the percentage...it's the content of the feedback, just read what other sellers said about the product.
COZ there are people who bought it knowing and it might be a bootleg and don't mind, therefore it might be stated in the comments. or they knew that it's a bootleg and don't mind, since it's cheap!

that's why a 100% positive of 99% don't mean everything...

i sell on ebay, but not very often....and once a buyer give me negative because his item was lost in the mail, and he did not even contact me to see whether i can help him....so that negative feedback brought my percentage low, very low, it was around 93% positive back then.

but in all my listing, i had stated 2 types of shipping, the regular and with register mail(for safty reasons), and for buyers who choose the regular mail, i always warn them that there's a chance that mail could be lost....
it's not like i force him to take regular mail....

spelling is never wrong in official avex products, no matter how well it looks or whatever, if there's a typo with the songs names than its a fake, and its not uncommon for ebay to sell bootlegs, the price is generally a good idea of if its real or fake, most of the time they don't say its a bootleg, but you can generally tell. I bought a subbed AT08 from ebay, it didn't say it was bootleg (I knew it was and already own 1st press original), but normally they cant write that its a bootleg because ebay's not suppose to allow them being sold

douggn,actually i've googled the seller mentioned by pink...based on the photo,it really look like is a official product(except the sticker.because i hear ppl mentioned before,official from avex is on the right side while bootleg is on the left side.i don't know how true this statement is)..no spelling error or what...but what makes me feel fishy is the courier company they use...you can try google the seller nickname and it will direct you to the ebay page.
