Nice fake covers, DEEP RIVER~ I really like the third one!

Did anyone catch that Hikki's official Facebook was updated a couple days ago? It just gave a link to the Come Back To Me and some Mozes Widgets, but still-- it was updated! So maybe that signals a confirmation of this news in the near future?

Can someone tell me short what Hikki is up to now?
Last thing I remeber is rumors about crying like a child being a single - and what now?

^ lol me too!

The next title should be totally Exodus old-school, since we're not getting anything new anyway.

"Utada makes you want to be a man in her 34th thread"

"Utada's easy breezy and we are Japanesey in her 34th thread"

(I'll love the person that will actually use one of these titles forever, hahah)

Utada isn't going on a tour in the sense that people are thinking of on here. If it is true, it'll be in a much less capacity and probably in a fashion in which we wouldn't consider to be a tour at all. Plus he says he's going along........if it's true.

There's absolutely no call for Utada to go on a tour. Who would come? She can't fill up arenas. Maybe some Kelly Rowland low key mess, if that.

I don't put any merit on it though. I don't want to see Utada tour now.

Utada should tour some small clubs or something like that in order to get her music known... If she is going to do something like this, IMO it can work

I think it's a time for her to get back to her japanese works, if she hasn't started anything yet. I still think she can do amazing music, HEART STATION is a proof. TITO really sucked in the US, a tour is ridiculous.

Yes. This.

We have "some" female Japanese artist(s) shooting out music Kumi Koda style and Utada is just sitting back, chuckling at their sales.

She's a spiteful little woman.

She better chuckle out me some Japanese Bliss.

How much effort and energy is Def Jam still willing to put into Utada at this point in time anyway? I think we've seen the pinnacle of this rounds promotion this past Spring/Summer. Anything else from this point forward will just be a huge disappointment to many. Not to those who know better though.

It's just not how the music industry works.

Aaaagh!

Aaaagh!

Itchy---!

Mosquitoes---!

It's been getting cooler lately but there still seem to be them, the mosquites!!

I've got seven mosquito bites mainly on my feet just within an hour
(≧血≦;)

I just can't take it (≧血≦;)

Looks like there's only one of them, so first I thought it would have enough soon and haven't used mosquit sticks but . . . how can you be that hungry? > mosquito

I'm writing lyrics dammit, I need to finish this by tomorrow -

I guess you've had enough now (´・ω・`) Say 'yes' please > mosquito

Work No.192

(↑The number 192 has no meaning at all)

L(‘▽‘)/
My doodle of the day!

I told this engineer (a German guy) something like "Make it cool with your German magic" then I found I liked the sound of the words "german magic" and I doodled them before I knew it!

Then this engineer guy said "I'll frame it up if I have your autograph on it!" so I was like ooooooh! and welcomed his offer! (lol)

I love this sort of doodles very much
(●^口^●)

. . . Well, I mean,

I'm so sorry for doodling right in the middle of this important work, the final check of the mixing

Damn you!!(;`Д´)≡⊃)゚o゚(⊂≡(`Д´;) You dork!!

I don't think anyone was under the impression of an arena tour type thing. (At least I wasn't.) I'm hoping for some kind of club tour-- nation wide. Utada definitely has enough fans to do something like that. Those concerts are so much better than ones in giant arenas anyway. Up-close and personal performances are awesome.

---

For those saying she should go back to Japanese work-- I agree and I disagree. I'm hoping for a new Japanese single in the future (as long as that doesn't mean that she is going to abandon promoting TiTO because I want that to be successful more than anything.) However, I'm afraid a new Japanese single will sound a mess. Hikki's Japanese music hasn't been good since pre-ULTRA BLUE. The singles from that album rocked, but from the album's release everything went down hill. And HEART STATION was a disaster. I either want something reminiscent of her English work, old Japanese work, or something entirely new and fresh. Nothing like HEART STATION or ULTRA BLUE though, please and thanks.

I want smth like Flavor of Life That single is ... can't describe it. Not to mention Hana Yori Dango. Maybe with some new big drama we'll get sth new from her She's not "that lazy". Yes, it takes forever to release anything, but when you look closely, she promotes her stuff wisely - Majo no Jouken, Hero, Kingdom Hearts, First Love, Casshern, Haru no Yuki, Hana Yori Dango 2, Last Friends, Rebuild of Evangelion, Innocent Love...etc.

^^I do hate it when people complain about how lazy she is... But her 'wise promotion' just enables her to not have to do as much herself. LOL All those major tie-ins make it so her singles just sell themselves. haha

omg like, do you have ears?

No I'm kidding, everyone has a different taste of course.

And personally for me, Ultra Blue and HEART STATION are brilliant albums and I love most songs on them. Surprising to hear you don't, but to each his taste!

^^DEEP RIVER is actually my favorite album. It (as well as Exodus) is... like the perfect blend of her R&B and Experimental styles. ULTRA BLUE's album tracks were a little too on the experimental side for me and HEART STATION was way too soft for my tastes. I really loveee First Love, Distance & TiTO too. haha

Do you guys remember when Ken Hirai covered First Love a while ago? Cause I just found an Automatic cover by him... I've never heard it before. It's super good!

Btw, was there a studio version of First Love? Like was that on one of his singles or was it just a live thing? This sounds like a studio version too... haha Any of his fans know where these covers are from?

I 100% agree with everything you said there. I thought ULTRA BLUE was going to be good because of the singles, but it was a real disappointment. (The only album track I liked was BLUE. :\) And HEART STATION....it kinda sucks, to be blunt. I want another Deep River album! Experimental, yet true to her own style and quality work.

I don't get why so many people want another Deep River. I love it but it's not her best work and everyone seems to think it's the holy grail of all her albums. A Deep River Part 2 would never be as good as Deep River. Anyways Utada said herself she likes Ultra Blue over Deep River so I don't think she'll want to make another Deep River anyways XD.

Well the 1,000,000+ people who purchased "HEART STATION" would probably disagree so that isn't really a reason for her not to release a Japanese Single. You speak like this is fact and the word of law.

And gauging by how "This Is The One" did in sales........Mmmmm.......releasing a Japanese Single in the style of her English material might not be the best idea. Even some of her hardcore fans, after some retrospection, can finally say that they don't really like what she did on it.

"This Is The One" wasn't really Utada anyway. "Exodus" was Utada.......but not that.
