at first when i read this message it kind of hurt my feelings honestly. it kind of made me feel like some kind of evil foreign fan who doesn't deserve the same kind of access to ayumi that japanese fans have. after i thought about it, i don't think ayumi meant it that way. i do understand that fans in team ayu should get some really great benefits that no other fans have, otherwise what is the point of them paying? i think the mistake that avex and/or ayumi is making is in not opening team ayu up to foreign fans as well. perhaps there is a reason why though, i'm not sure. as far as ayumi knows, foreign fans have no access to her team ayu blogs, so she wouldn't think we could read those messages anyway. if she really legitimately wants to connect with us as well, i'm sure there is a better way of doing it than sending us a few twitter messages. and if she is on twitter for us, then why are most of her messages in japanese?

but i'm not complaining at all. i think its amazing that thru a world is one, ayumi finally recognizes her international fan community. i remember years and years of being an ayumi fan where the only news we really got was big announcments like a new single or album. in the past we never had updates of ayumi's day to day life, what she was thinking or doing at any particular time. months would go by with no news or anything at all. so compared to that, we live in an ayumi golden age!!!

also, i really appreciate those members here who translate TA messages for us. without you, we wouldn't have this amazing access. i do agree with oji-i-san though, perhaps we should be a little more careful about where these messages are posted. couldn't we have a members only forum for them???
