Amuro has been crowned "the Best Asian Artist" in the world biggest music award --- World Music Award 2010. She was the first ever Asian female artist to perform in the show,singing one of her greatest hits --- HIDE&SEEK, for the first time in Europe.
Amuro's album Best Fiction(2008)... sold over 180 million records in Japan and was at the top position of The Oricon Album Chart for consecutively six weeks. Including this, Amuro has achieved a personal record as the only Japanese artist to have million hits records in the 10, 20 and 30 year-old generations.
Amuro's latest album Past<Future(Released on 16/12/2009) was reported to be
a top seller in 5 major Asian regions --- Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan , Korea and Singapore. Such victorious success was rewarded by the International Federation of Phonogram and Videogram Producers (IFPI) as the Best Selling Asian Artist.
