Blossom/moon booklet looks the best from all 3. I am probably going to end up getting that one. This is the first time I actually prefer the booklet pic more then the cover pic. It seems the lighting, pose and everything is a lot better then the covers.

What's with everyone hating Last Links orchestra mix? :< I actually thought it was the best among these remixes. It actually has some orchestral instruments as the title suggests (something many of the "acoustic orchestra" ayu-mi-x-tracks lacked), fits with the music much better than some of Ayu's other orchestral remixes (NEVER EVER and Alterna come to mind) and - the thing I liked best about it - the remix seems to bring out a different, softer and more melancholic side of the song. It sounds different from the original not just because of the instruments, but also the mood. And I don't really think Ayu's vocals are too bad on it, but granted, I liked them in the original version too.

Also, my thoughts on the other remixes (which no one will really care about but whatever): Microphone doesn't sound really good to me, it seems to lack some of its original power provided by the great guitars. Don't look back is... God, I can't say anything about this one. In a good way. I'm eagerly waiting to hear the full version on the single. And meaning of Love piano version is just as I expected it to be: lovely. Full version as soon as possible please. ^^

PS: MOON > blossom, but both are good. Just my two cents.

Last Links (Orchestra version) - her vocals were like that in the original song to begin with so I dont understand all the shock, I like it! I love Last Links so much <3
Microphone (THE LOWBROWS remix) - OMG, I fell off the chair!!! Its so crazy! It makes original song much more fun and strong and the original was amazing enough!
Don't look back (Reggae Disco Rockers remix) - OMG, I love the original and the remix!!!! It roooooooooooocksssssssss!!!!!!
meaning of Love (Acoustic Piano version) - beautiful and lovely!!! Love it!

and.... I didnt want to hear blossom and MOON but... Now its too late. I went over there and pressed play

I thought MOON is a ballad, Im surprised. It sounds powerful but not in your face way. I love it!
OMG, blossom is not ballad either lol, I really thought both of them will be ballads. Maybe covers of the single made me feel that way. Its good!!! I dont know which is better tho. I have to hear it in full to decide.

I don't have a problem with the Last Links vocals themselves, in fact Last Links is one of my favorite songs, her vocals are rough, emotional, and fit the original song, but an orchestra mix is just not fitting imo, but that's just so far from the preview. We'll see how it goes in full.

The booklet pics are amazing And yes, actually better than the covers! But I'm not surprised since they usually are. I remembered how much better the glitter/fated booklet pics were than the covers.

umm listening again. i actually really like the Last Links remix. like the vocals dont sound bad to me. or at least they really dont bother me (ive heard worse vocals from singers and i tolerate it quite nicely). . .

i guess some people have more sensitive ears?? ^__~

yeah the i like Last Links remix more than original so far XD. . . .the vocals are full of emotion and coarse. if she sang it more softly it would not have the same impact.

I have to disagree. I don't hear any emotion, just really bad vocals. Raw and rough doesn't always equal emotional.

A good example of when her raw vocals are bursting with emotion is A Song for XX "030213 Session take #2" on A BALLADS. BEST vocals I've ever heard from her ever!

yes thats true. but i do feel emotion myself. and im happy at least i can if no one can. (its like this with Mucc at times. although Tatsurous voice owns ayus in every way. his voice is really rough but emotion filled so its lovely to me)

its funny. but i actual never felt anything for that version on A BALLADS. nor did i think it was very rough. the arrangement maybe. not the voice. i even prefer the original over it. either way ASFXX is better live in any situation.

however as i said. i really never understand when people talk about such horrendous vocals in this song. im still alive. song is great. irdc. ^__^

one of my fav performances of ayu is ASFXX at concert tour 2000 in the red dress. ****** vocals but i love the emotion

I'm not sure how to explain it.. but it's this thing she does with her voice at the end of some words in the song, that make it sound like she's going to cry. She has been doing that since Duty and I love it.

The last time she described anything as godly was the lyrics for Days and I loved that one SO MUCH, so... I've high hopes for her "godly song"!

And oh I haven't listened to the previews... but about the Last Links vocals, I'm with jbrat. She sounds like she's yelling at me... which kinda turns me off from listening to it sometimes, but whatever.

I dunno.. I usually trust ayu's taste in music. But if she did describe Days as godly then yeah, I won't get my hopes that high. I wonder why just the name of the new song hasn't been leaked yet, since people have the single and can hear a preview of it..
