Let's just assume her next single will sell better! In my opinion though, I'm not really surprised, I really like MOON, but I don't find either song particularly rememberable.

^I think that too, the sales ar pretty good for a single without promotion. but i think the single deseres more sales, it is very beautiful. I am looking forward to the sales of the 49th and the 50th singles, so curious.

Yeah; I know that the lack of promotion was for the best, she just doesn't have the time, and her voice will have no strength if she takes on TV performances also. She just won't make it. No promotion was for the best, otherwise it could also make her future tour, a-nation and 50th single show dates suffer.

But totally, the single is selling well considering the lack of promotion. I was just...hoping for a big board in a square or something haha. Any little thing just for the sake of it I guess.

Its sad that that 690k you mentioned is for singles and not albums. It's like singles are all the rage now, considering album sales.

Yeah. Album sales in Japan had always been a tad low compared to the other major music markets (Japan has a bit less than 50% of the total inhabitants of the US but the album sales were only like 33%), but it's pretty dramatic this year. Let's hope there'll be some surprises on the way =/

^Yeah hard to comapre, a solo artist you have to like. And in an group is more people so maybe you like only one and buy because of that.

Although tbh I came back from Tokyo just a week ago and the songs I heard the most playing in shops were from Kana Nishino's new album (this girl's voice is EVERYWHERE!! omg lol) and Charice's Pyramid. So in terms of music playing in stores, there was no Arashi's new single or anything. Commercial/billboards is a different matter, ofc.

BUT, I heard Ayu on one occasion too! It was in a shoe shop in Ikebukuro where it seemed they were playing a best album. Heard evolution, appears, etc.

Anyway, is there no sales update on Sundays?
