The last #1 single the group attained was 2 years back with VERB . Subsequent singles they released like Aka to Kuro no MATADORA / I LOVE YOU wo Sagashiteru , SAY YOUR DREAM & I am xxx did not reach #1

then again it's better to be safe than sorry

Lol, Bigtop, you're really good at making people panic, aren't you?

You've posted a lot of names but really, only Glay is a (serious!) threat. Their singles generally sell around 90k~100k (at least the past 3 years) and Ayu USED to be a bit above that, but if Crossroads has Moon-like sales it might actually be a serious threat!

Still, September the 1st there isn't any competition. She can beat those, easily : P

Yeah for now GLAY is the only threat to watch out for in Sept , singles wise

I don't know for the Johnny's though since NEWS will be touring the Domes in Sept when it was announced this morning on Johnny's Net so it could smell a new single if not an album (but I think it's too early for one , just 2 group singles only ?!)

i don't think so...this is tuesday and the new release is not entering the chart yet...

I guess you're right!

It confused me because ayumisrael posted second week, first day and I assumed that meant the second SALES week (aka tuesday), not the second week as in a nomal week (aka monday).

I hope that made sense XD

very low sales of CDL. If im not wrong, her lowest 1st week DVD sales from past few years was CDL 07-08 42K but it managed to sell 78K overall

ok CDJapan just emailed me so I guess people should take note if crossroad might be released on 11th Aug if not 1st Sept

11th Aug - Fukuyama Masaharu-san's Hotaru / Shounen

1st Sept - V6's only dreaming / Catch

if crossroad will be released before or after the following dates , shouldn't be a cause for panic of sorts

Fukuyama Masaharu is a definite no-no if she wants to get a no. 1.

V6 MAY be dangerous. Their latest two singles only sold 60k in their first weeks so Ayu should be able to beat that ... but the two before that sold 80k which is dangerous. Let's just assume avex is smart and that they release the single on a different date!

V6 is a threat but i think ayu can win over this boys...

i think 1st September most likely the best date for her to release crossroad, although they must face V6...but the chance to get number one position is bigger than other dates, 75% ayu can get it if she release it on 1st September
