The meaning of 'L'
Hi guys, I searched but couldn't find anything similar.

I wanted to know if other people had picked up on anything to do with the meaning of 'L'.

One thing I wanted to point out (sorry if it's already been mentioned) is that L is the roman numeral for 50. seeing as this is her 50th single, I thought this must be part of the reason for the choice.

Does anybody else have any more insight into the choice of L?

It probably just IS the roman numeral meaning 50, but it could stand for anything!

Ayu is quite passionate about:

Life
Love
Lady
Language

While I do believe that the title L is solely representative of the Roman numeral meaning 50, I think it makes it more interesting that people perceive it in different ways. Although Ayu's original intent was probably just that the letter represented the number 50 for her 50th single, I'm sure she'd love it if people listened to the single and came up with their own ideas of what L means to them. Like for example, I've heard people say that Ayu's music has changed their life so L to the listener may represent Life for the person who feels that way. Or since a lot of the songs are about love, it may be perceived as representing the word Love for some people. However it makes you feel is what it should mean to you.

I think it stands for LOVE, but now, I suppose it could stand for both concepts... ^^

I dont know how many reactions it needs yet. Its obviously 50 in roman alphabet, no love or anything else. sometimes common sense is way useful than creativity.

Love Lesbian Losers.

How? In Virgin Road, the song is wedding song (Love), and ayu's husband looks like a girl with long hair (lesbian), and they are going to rob (losers).
