im still waiting for their american album in that blog update YG also said that Will.i.am was busy promoting the black eyed peas so he didnt have much time but he said that when all that stuff was goin on with North and South korea, that will.i.am called to make sure that 2ne1 was ok

^With 2NE1 though I doubt we'll get the American album all too soon. Before they release it they'll probably do a single or two like Wonder Girls did. Plus, since they're new in America they'd have to do a lot of promotion first so people will know of them and have heard their music.

Surprise, surprise, didn't know they released it as ringtone in Japan.

They could bring out the English a bit more. The instrumentation drowns them out at times and you can't really make out what they're saying.

But I take back what I said, it does sound like something I could hear on the radio. It doesn't really drag either. (and I love the line "***** you ain't got **** on me")

Maybe I should've listened to it before I said what I said haha.

^ Yes, I indeed do. I have a feeling they MIGHT be it. They might just be the ones. Utada tried and got nowhere, BoA flopped, SE7EN seems to have given up, and Wonder Girls paved way.

^I agree. I think 2NE1's style would do excellent here. Just once again, the artists need to learn full fluent English. Still I'm wondering if the male groups would work here in America considering the difference of lifestyle and such. Same with the real cutesy stuff.

Their music has definitely got what it takes to make it, it's just that I'm a bit anxious about the success of a girl group in general in the US. Seriously, boybands and girl groups have almost all died out in the US, so I'm curious if they'd be willing to embrace a new one : /
