It's likely a mistranslation error. I'm sure Ayu would have said something like "And the wedding is soon!" in her TA message if it was this month.

if she has, i'm assuming she wanted to spend New Years with Mannie and/or she didn't want to be in Japan when she announced her marriage. i don't blame her for wanting to avoid the possible negativity though.

Wow, already? I didnt expect it to be so fast o.O!! Maybe it's just rumor and they're just going to spend some days together before Ayu gets super busy again. Or in fact they marry so soon because of that.
