I can't listen to BTW album without skipping some tracks, I only listen to more or less 6 songs... :|

I listened through Love songs yesterday and all the magic was gone from the album and that should not happen when we talk about Ayu's albums so I picked Born This Way. It doesn't matter how many times I listen to BTW, the magic of it never fades. <3

Love songs, but just because I'm not very into Gaga's sound lately...

But I agree with the people with the fact that this
poll is kinda ridiculous. These two albums are so different from each other, it's hard to compare them.

Why is the poll ridiculous?
Whether it's two different artists or only Ayu, the purpose is the same--to pick a favourite.
And even if the albums above have little in common, it doesn't change the fact that you should be able to tell which one you prefer.
Seeing how they are also the newest albums from both artists, it gives one more reason to question the quality of the work, especially for the fans of both ladies.

I, for one, choose Born This Way.
Despite my dislike of electronic pop and that I prefer classical music (and Love songs leans towards that sound), as far as composition goes, Born This Way is more entrancing. I found the lyrics on Love songs hardly satisfactory, and whilst they present more depth than Born This Way, they're forgettable.

I honestly didn't think Love songs would win this! It seemed as if people generally prefer mainstream pop to Ayu now a days.

Easiest poll I've ever done.... Love Songs, definitely. Born This Way was forgettable, bland, and annoying to me. I'm still not a huge fan of Love Songs, but it takes the cake against Born This Way.

I don't get this poll at all...ridiculous to compare jpop and mainstream western pop music..but if I have to then I'm gong to vote Love Songs because for once an album from ayu actually do flows well from song to song without skipping.

in terms of the WHOLE album (including the booklet, photobook, CD art design,
music videos -> though BTW haven't had it all yet - etc.) and the songs itself of course, I chose Love songs!

oh please, BTW is full of crappy photos of GaGa and the cover is just simply Ugly. + a lot of Catholic-condemned-kinda songs.. =o=

Ls vs BTW???!!! WHAT?! Comparing Sending Mail to Judas? Well let's see...


I applaud Gaga for trying to do something more interesting in the US music scene (she didn't have to try hard because 95% of music sounds the SAME) but I felt she tried a little to hard to make a statement and the album was better than TF but it still wasn't WOW!! to me.

Love songs oth was effortless. Ayu knew exactly what she wanted to do and it flowed perfectly. IMO, it didn't have WOW!! factor but I still listen to it!!

But you could but 6 hour long Nyan Cat against whatever-made-by-Gaga, and I still wouldn't choose Gaga. Just the way it is. Never.

Because this is an Ayumi forum and Ayumi fans are infamous for either loving or downright hating Gaga. I'm surprised there isn't more hate here, especially considering the drama about her lately. It's obvious that most Ayumi fans will only come to see this to "defend Ayu from even being compared to 'that'" ahahaha
