^So usually the CD and maybe even the DVD itself is pretty much the same on every different version?
(I guess I really have to learn now since Avex decided to rip my heart out not having alan producing j-pop anymore................)

i hope avex make the official announcement about her situation, probabbly we have to wait till december after the release of the dvd.

And about the editions of the chinese albums, i hate them !!!
For example Xin De Dong Fang had like 3 editions (or more):
-album with large case and photobook
-album with normal case + poster
-regular album
The 3 editions have the same songs and the same videos.
At least with the japanese releases we know all the editions of the album in the same day, but with the chinese releases we couldn't know

Yeah but the 2nd, 3rd editions may just come with something new like a new song, new MV, and goods~

But even if you buy all of the versions, the price is still cheaper than buying alan's JP singles + albums

I have no hopes for her Chinese releases.

Even the guys from AVEX were terrified at how awful they were at editing her songs for her first Chinese album

Though I'm going to wait and see what's next for her, and hopefully I'll be surprised/impressed.

My dream would be: alan being picked by one of those international companies and turned into an international singer, something similar to Sa Ding Ding, but younger, prettier, cooler and obviously, with better vocals

She should sing more in Tibetan than in Chinese too

In the Chinese music industry and with a mainstream company, I don't think she'll sing that much in Tibetan.

But alan said she wanted to learn English this year~

I just have this trauma with Chinese songs But when alan sings in Chinese, it sounds amazing, but also the songs were amazing, thanks to the Japanese influence, so I dunno what to expect really.

She will never become like Jolin Tsai because she can't dance. She may become one of those forgettable ballad singer since that's what most of Cpop is unless she can find the right producer for her.

I guess it only takes a selected few to like her music...When she tried to go mainstream, well that sucked cause Kazuhito's songs on my life all sounded alike

Sometimes I think having the same composer is a blessing and a curse because we got songs like Ashita e no Sanka and Over the clouds, but then when all of her other songs started to sound alike...
But when alan changed composers, we got Gunjou no Tani and Kuon no Kawa

Thats why Im always waiting then buying very first second first versions. its annoying honestly, cause versions after are usually better

Maybe not they sound alike as in the music or anything, but just the tone and mood of the songs~

And just that most of her songs are ballads with a majority of them being slow piano/guitar ballads...That's what I meant by sounding alike

In other news, I've fallen in love with Natsukashii Mirari again. That song gives me hope for a brighter future, for all of us.

yeah they probably didn't like the sales but why make so many repepetitive happy songs?? she should have sticked to Ashita no Sanka & Gunjou no Tani ethnic style, definately. because I think that's just her talent to sing songs like this! epic & ethnic = amazing. plus use Leslie Kee & some desert-forest-water Pvs. it should have worked, I think...Voice of Earth was amazing in music videos & concept & photography. that's the only album I liked, because the second album sounded boring, simple & flat.

Since Kuon no Kawa alan get a lot of songs with ethnic style (BALLAD, Kaze ni Mukau Hana, Ai wa Chikara, Kanashimi wa Yuki ni Nemuru)
And she already did desert and forest PVs
Ashita e no Sanka, Kaze ni Mukau Hana - Desert PV
Ikiru, Gunjou no Tani - Forest PV
Megumi no Ame - Water PV

But i'm with you, she had to released more songs like Gunjou no Tani .
And yep, Voice of EARTH is her best album, everything was perfect
