This was something that I was concerned about when they first announced the subunit system. It seems as though the addition of the subunits as well as the other activities they're involved in individually and as a group has put their Japanese music on the backburner for a bit. Other artists in Japan have already announced releases for June and July so I'm hoping that they'll release something by the end of the year (although I wish it would be sooner). To be honest, I preferred their Japanese album over their last Korean album by a long shot so I'm looking forward to their return to the Japanese music scene again.

I hope the subunit is something like Hoot! when they were promoting Japanese stuff...just a side stuff for Korean fans before they go all out with International stuff. They must do a Japanese tour this year...SM made too much money on the first one to not do another one this year.

My friend makes shirts and stuff and she's making me a shirt for my birthday, she sent me a mock up of what it looks like haha but who is it? It's tiffany right? I can't tell, i told he it needs to be tiffany because she's my favourite, it's from the holiday photobook.

Thanks for posting their performance schedule! It's going to be strange to see just Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun on stage performing but I'm really looking forward to the performances. I also want to hear the fanchants!

I would love for them to release something in June or July! A summer single would be great but probably unlikely unless they surprise us.

At first I was very put off by this Sub-Unit that came out of nowhere for no reason. Then I decided to not be difficult and to just accept it. Besides, the concept art looked like the music could be very interesting and way out there. Then I saw the teaser and heard previews of the songs and was like, "NOPE Nu Uh, won't be choking on this dusty Mini." Then I heard the entirety of "TWINKLE" and was like, "You know what? Ya'll wasting my time."

I'm sooo confused, aren't they suppose to be releasing their first English album this year? Nearly half way through the year and haven't heard anything about it (The Boys EP single release was a miscommunicated mess) and they've yet to release stuff in Korea and Japan where they have obligations and a real fanbase. Does anyone have a list of the girls current obligations? I know Sunny is in a musical and YoonA is doing drama stuff but what about the other girls?

Looking at the schedule, there are musicals and mini album promo up until the middle of May when they have the SM Town concert in LA -

^All their American Activities are done for the time being. They've released all that they said they were going to release on that front. They were never releasing an English Album.

As for everything else, I feel they JUST finished with THE BOYS. So I'm not really missing them right now. It's not time for them to come back yet.

Yes, "The Boys" was added to their 2nd Asia Tour's setlist. They performed it in English in Singapore but I'm unsure if they performed it in English elsewhere or if they switched to Korean in other countries.

I always treat sub-units as sub-activities. I try to persuade myself that they wouldn't release anything sooner anyway so it's either sub-unit or nothing. I miss my Sunny not being here but it won't make me hate the album or anything.

Btw, I wish there would sing Time Machine live, is it on the tour's setlist?

I'm pretty sure there were actually some remors going on about them releasing an english album during the summer, back when they released The Boys in Europe and in the US. But they then said that it would pushed back to next year, and that they would be focusing on korean and Japanese activities. A few weeks after, there was this sub unit rumor..
