I don't know how to use Spoiler tags : ( I'm uploading the photo tomorrow after the Nami Tamaki concert : )

BTW, It's pretty obvious the biggest KPOP groups in Japan are T-ARA & KARA. There CD's are literally stacked everywhere and when I was in Tower Records, Shinjuku, they were being gobbled up by girls XD I was going to buy their 1st Album but I just... don't see a point, since I prefer their music in Japanese (minus: Lovey-Dovey and YaYaYa). Also, the DVD is packaged beautifully. i was expecting like... just a normal DVD. but it's not. It's like a giant book-like-thing with photos, then at the end of all the photos on the last page is the DVD. it's really nicely done and the photos are SUPER high quality. I think it was worth my money and I'm glad I bought it.

This is the format for spoiler tags:

[s p o i l e r]insert text[/s p o i l e r] (just remove the spaces between the letters)

Although I knew that T-ara was quite popular in Japan, I didn't know that they were THAT popular. I haven't been following their Japanese activities that closely so it's good to hear that they are doing well, especially from someone who is staying in Japan right now and can physically see everything that is going on. As far as the DVD, I too thought it would be coming in a regular DVD case until I saw that HMV increased the shipping price by 300 yen, lol. I figured that something must have been different about the packaging then. I can't wait to see it in person! I also hope you enjoy the Nami Tamaki concert!

I feel like I was watching an 80's music video for some reason. Its bad, but a least its better than the Lies Japanese Version MV lol.

Also, I'm surprise that Boram actually had a whole line in this version of the song instead of just two words in the Korean Version.

KARA, most definitely. T-ARA, not so much. Yeah, they're popular here, but Girls' Generation are much more popular than T-ARA. KARA is probably the most popular by far though. They're everywhere on the trains, in the convenience stores, in all the music stores, etc.

The covers for "Jewelry Box" are out!

Pearl Edition:

Sapphire Edition:

Diamond Edition:

CREDIT : t-arafan + mllktea + tiaradiadem.com

According to their official website, the first press edition of the Pearl version will come with a special picture label on the disc (there are 8 types). Also, it looks as though the "History of T-ara" DVD from the Sapphire edition may contain footage from their Japanese music videos "Bo Peep Bo Peep", "Lovey-Dovey", "Roly Poly", and "yayaya (Dance Version). I'm not 100% sure if it's going to be the full videos, a video mix, or behind the scenes footage of the videos. I'm hoping that more detailed information will be available on the CD shop websites soon.

First press photos from different CD shops:

Thank you so much for posting the setlist! I can't wait to see the concert! I'm really curious about "Show Time". From what I recall, it's not in their Korean or Japanese discography. I'm wondering if it's a special performance or song made just for this concert.

The Pearl Edition cover is the best out of the 3 covers.

I might pickup this album even though I'm not to big on their Japanese activities

I've been liking this song a lot lately:

Yangpa, Lee Boram and Soyeon - I know

I hope T-ARA's official Japanese website will post clips from the DVDs that are coming with the album. I'm considering purchasing the Sapphire Edition in addition to the Diamond Edition but I would like to see some of the content first before making my decision.

BTW, here's a performance of T-ara singing Lovey-Dovey (Japanese ver.) at Girls' Factory in Japan on the 19th:

^ They gave the line to Jiyeon but let Boram still have "Samishi suki".

T-ARA's single "Lovey Dovey (Japanese Version)" debuted in the #5 spot on Oricon today! To be honest, I'm really surprised it charted so well since "Lovey Dovey" is the only song on the single which is also on their album that is going to be released in 2 weeks. I hope that this is an indication that their album is going to sell well too! I also hope they are able to maintain a top spot although AKB48's got that #1 spot secured for sure.

Also, here is the MV for T-ara's remake digital single "Round and Round" that I posted about awhile back. It came out later than originally reported.

News regarding T-ara's new member additions:

Quote:
[12.05.23] T-ara coming back with eight members in early July
Seven member girl group T-ara will comeback as eight members this summer.

The seven members of T-ara: Eunjung, Hyomin, Soyeon, Qri, Boram, Jiyeon and Hwayoung, will comeback with a new album in Korea in the first week of July. This time around, they will gain one new member to promote as eight members but eventually become nine members.

The new member who will join in July is a 3rd year high school student with both beauty and musical talent. It's also known that the other member is a 3rd year junior high school student. Core Contents Media commented, "We have decided on the two new members, but it's not a confirmation yet. Depending on how things out, a different member than what is planned now may join."

In April, Core Contents Media's CEO announced the reorganization of the group by saying, "T-ara will gain two new members to become nine members."

T-ara will gain one of their two new members this summer, and then later in the year a second member will officially join. The new member will appear introduced through T-ara's music video and plans to meet fans beforehand.

On the 23rd, T-ara's agency said to Star News, "T-ara wants to have a fresh start this summer. As already stated, they'll become nine members, but first they'll first become a girl group with eight members."

T-ara will work with their composers who have helped them create hits in the past including Cho Youngsoo and Shinsadong Tiger. T-ara's unique new music will return.

Ahead of their comeback, T-ara are beginning their sold out tour in Japan in June. T-ara will perform as seven members at their Japanese concert tour beginning on June 18th in Nagoya, Japan.

T-ara has became one of the national girl groups with their consecutive hits and plan to keep it coming.

T-ara's new members will be revealed on May 31st and June 7th.

Core Contents Media revealed on the 23rd, "T-ara's eight member is 19 years old (Korean age) and has both skills and looks better than an average rookie. When T-ara begins promotions this summer with a new album, we expect a lot of attention for T-ara's eighth member."

T-ara's other new member was revealed to have grown up in the United States since age four and will be introduced to fans through acting in T-ara's new music video.

The new member who will join in July is a 3rd year high school student with both beauty and musical talent. It's also known that the other member is a 3rd year junior high school student. Core Contents Media commented, "We have decided on the two new members, but it's not a confirmation yet. Depending on how things turn out, a different member than what is planned now may join instead."

The two new members both have strong charisma and cute looks, and have an average height of 167cm.

T-ara said, "Please look forward to our new members and new songs."

Meanwhile, T-ara are currently preparing for a concert in Thailand and a tour in Japan and their solo Korean concert in July.

It has been reported by a couple of Korean news' sources that this girl (whose name is Danee and 14 years old) will be the 9th member of T-ara who will debut with them later this year. This has not been officially confirmed by CCM:
