Netizens Create Conspiracy Theories Regarding T-ara's Soyeon's Car Accident

Netizens continue to tarnish T-ara and Core Contents Media's image by creating conspiracy theories regarding Soyeon's recent accident, claiming things such as the story being fabricated to make the group look more sympathetic and that this was Soyeon's punishment from CCM for speaking out against the company.

It was recently discovered that the time the original article reporting on Soyeon's car accident was uploaded at 12:06 am. However, the accident didn't occur until 7 am that morning, causing speculation as to the legitimacy of the report. Netizens began claiming that the story was fabricated by CCM in order to make the group more sympathetic.

Netizens claiming to work in the medical field also commented on the photos of Soyeon in the hospital wearing a neck brace. According to them, the collar is a Philadelphia collar and is only used on patients with severe nerve or spinal cord damage. Patients in those types of braces would not be able to place their hand on their head the way Soyeon is seen doing because it would be too painful. Others also point out that the collar was put on very loosely, another sign that it was fake.

While some netizens focused on disproving that the accident happened, others claimed that CCM CEO Kim Kwang Soo set up the car accident as a punishment for Soyeon. The day before, the idol accepted an interview, becoming the first T-ara member to speak about their recent scandal. She spoke out against CCM, stating that she was angry at them for kicking out Hwayoung. Netizens explained that the CEO has used harsh measures against the girls in the past, leading them to believe that this was possible.

These claims remain mostly unfounded. All articles written by the author of the original article show them being published at the same time, showing that the inconsistent time was the result of a bug. Proof of the other claims has not surfaced.

i think it's been clarified from allkpop that netizens have discovered that all the timings of the postings from that site are at 12:06am. so i think its just a technical error on their part.

I honestly don't know what to believe. If anyone would fabricate a story like that, it would be KKS.

yea but..its not as though those netizens cant be creditted. its a real fact that the timings for many of the reports are the same. so..i deem this as just some nonsense haters are trying to bring up

Some of it I'm not sure what to believe either. I'm not a huge T-ara fan.
However, today I was thinking about how all of them keep crying at their press conferences.
I don't mean to sound mean or anything but since they are all acting for dramas they are talented actresses right?
How do we even know if their crying is real? They all could possibly be acting. @_@

Ugh, netizens are so stupid. Always trying to bring up all this ******** that's not true. I don't personally believe CCM wanted to punish Soyeon for speaking out her own thoughts regarding the scandal. You see, the label should punish Hyomin as well since she did talk about the scandal herself as well but nothing has happened.

Also, I don't think they're faking their tears in press conferences because from all those videos I've seen, they were actually very close to each other after all. It would be stupid if they were just faking all those tears and sadness that they've shown. And personally, if there's someone who deserve all the blame, it's KKS.

I hope all of this will end soon and everyone just shuts up and lives on with their own lives. They must be pretty bored if they need to hate for T-Ara so much. And I want to hear the Sexy Love already too! ;__;

The handwritten apology letter (which was written by Qri) was posted on their official website and translated by netizenbuzz:

I really appreciate that the girls took the time to write a handwritten apology that addressed everything that needed to be said in order to clarify the issue. Because they can admit their faults, reflect and learn from them, move forward in a more positive direction, apologize and support (and also encourage others to support) Hwayoung moving forward (and that she can do the same for them), I forgive them and will support T-ara and Hwayoung with their future endeavors. I believe in forgiving people who accept responsibility for their actions and use their mistakes as learning experiences to better themselves. I am still saddened that Hwayoung was terminated from the group but she seems to be in a happy place now so I hope that she continues to follow her dreams of being a singer or a rapper as I will definitely be supporting her with anything she does in the future.

Sexy Love sounds incredible! Holy crap. I saw the video of them recording vocals, but I didn't expect it to sound this good. The video looks great too! Really excited for this release now, especially after reading Hwayoung's post and the apology letter. I hope they did write that on their own, without any help, because it was well-written and seemed sincere. It's very mature of Qri to write it too, considering how she's taking responsibility despite not having posted anything on twitter along with the others.

The only bad thing is that hideous retro picture. I'm really hoping that's not the cover, but I have a feeling it is. If the photobook is in that style, I may just have to buy the original Day By Day instead.
