Try saying what you mean and meaning what you say.

I'm not calling you people ignorant based on your opinions solely... it's mainly because you guys won't listen to anything that's negative towards Ayu.

I bet you're right, o wise one! But where exactly could she hide them in a big city like Tokyo?

I do, however, agree with PickleCookies again. (Are you my twin by chance? Hehe.) Even if Ayu is pregnant she can still perform, but nothing as large-scale as the Stadium Tour or something that requires much physical activity. Just look at Brandy -- when she was pregnant (9 months pregnant even!) she still performed on TV shows but did very little movement. She released an album too (Full Moon) and recently released another one (Afrodisiac-spelling?) while being a full-time mother at the same time.

But look, you guys, this is exactly what the Chinese tabloids want. They want to start a controversy (so to speak) just to get the public talking and curious about Ayu. Now each time Ayu will appear in pictures and on TV people will be rushing to the newstands and to their TVs to observe Ayu's abdomen to see if it grows or not.

Edited because I can't spell on Sundays.

Her being preganant would explain those uggly, big dresses she wore on the ending of ayu-ready? But until her mouthpiece says so, I'll take it with a grain of salt.

I don't believe this is true, but some of the reasons people have stated for this not being true, or why it can't be true are kind of insulting. If it WERE true she'd be pregnant not dying! Woman who are pregnant don't spend 9 months in bed. They can do things on their own to. One of my friends (a lot older than me) is about 8 months pregnant and she's getting treated by everyone around her like she can't lift a finger. She absolutely hates it. Pregnant does not mean invalid, I hope people don't seriously think otherwise.

I agree with PickleCookies and Chibi. So many people (not just here, and definately NOT everyone) seem to plug their ears and go "lalalalala I can't hear you!" if anything "bad" about Ayu is said. Ayu is not infallible or perfect, she's a human with faults like everyone. Somehow I got the rap as someone who "worshipped" ayu (those people appearently didn't bother to READ my posts), but overall I find that to be, well, rather sad. Not that I haven't done that to anyone in my life, because I have, but it's sort of out of touch with reality.

Testuo- I wouldn't get up in arms, the ignorant comment was attached to the "26 yo having sex" thing. Don't even get me started on that subject, there was an "Is Ayu a virgin?" thread forever ago and it absolutely cracked me up that people couldn't accept even the POSSIBILITY that 24yo (however old she was at the time, about then probably) who has been in a relationship for years could possibly have had sex. IMO, that was pretty naive.

Appears - I was just thinking about how, if she were pregnant, how motherhood could be such an inspiration, but you're so right. I would slit my throat too, ballads annoy me.

I agree with Chibi also that things like this make people watch Ayu even closer, and more harmless rumors like this may actually be good for her overall.

Ashley

^ *applauds*Hi Ashley!

Ashley's right, though. From what I've observed and from comments in this topic, people in general treat pregnant women as if they have some sort of physical handicap, but pregnant women can function just as perfectly as they can whenever they're not pregnant. However, some can become bedridden because of back problems, have morning sickness, etc., but that doesn't mean Ayu will spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair with 30 babies in her arm! Pregnancy, wanted or unwanted, is one of the greatest joys that a person can experience and surely Ayu would like to have that kind of joy during her lifetime instead of spending her future constantly in the public's eye. If fans honestly cared for Ayu's well-being (and I'm not pointing the finger at anyone), they would be very supportive instead of saying "HOW COULD SHE DO THIS?! She'll just be another Namie . . ."

Some things are more important in life than being Avex's biggest money-maker.

In my opinion if Ayumi is pregnant why does it have to be considered a bad thing? I think it would be awsome if Ayumi was going to have a baby but I she may not be so we just have to wait to see if she says she is.PickleCookies said Ayumi was 26 but I thought Ayumi was only 25. If she is pregnant that doesn't mean she'll release ballads after ballads but maybe she'll start composing more of her own songs and it will be like the 2000-2001 years people like so much and I do not mean that in a rude way.I do admit it would be nice to hear a song that could top M.Some of you may not care what I think but I just thought I might as well get my two cents in.

let's wait to hear it from her then from that stuff. She might not be pregnant. Wait for her to announce it before you get all upset that she is.

I don´t know if it´s true or not, but I don´t care. Even if Ayu was pregnant I´d support her, no matter what. And remember: Shiina Ringo was also pregnant, she had a break and after a year or so, she returned even more powerful than before. I don´t think that Ayu would quit if she were to have a baby. Not really. She loves her life (at least, that´s what I feel her transmitting in her songs and performances) and she loves music...So it´s pretty unlikely...
