What's wrong with not showing off Maro? She doesn't want everyone to see her and her boyfriend working presently together, there is nothing wrong with it.
And even if the whole publicity thing is convinient, it doesn't mean it's a lie but they probably thought why not use it if we can  It's hollywoodish but at least Maro doesn't beat her and she goes clubbing with drugs
