I still think it's giving a more Latin feel rather than Hawaiian. The composing itself has slight hints of latin flavor, not that it was done well ...

Although I admit the cover looks appealing to me, she's been doing a lot of "tee hee, I'm pretty" covers as opposed to anything terribly interesting/symbolic/(adjective) lately, maybe it's just me. Of course that's what the generic person wants so mneh

What was symbolic though? Duty cover and LOVEppears? Ayu was always all mainly about looks in her covers anyway.

This cover is pleasant.. just not as creative as some of her others. I find that her covers lately have been lacking the usual 'spark' others have had in the past. I think covers started going a bit down hill since Voyage. I remember when I saw the cover of "&" I thought it was a bit bland. I guess since "&" the covers have just been a bit bland compared to previous ones. I admit some past ones were a bit boring as well, but it seems she's had a continuous set of boring covers since last year.

Anyway, about this cover though, I think the font is a bit tacky and takes up too much space. And I'm not very fond of the wig either :/ But oh well. I still like it to some extent. I just hope she doesn't look like that in the PV, especially with those heavy earrings weighing down her ear lobes x.x

^ agree about the font, it hink it sucks... and the red looks too garish... i thought it was meant2b a sporty summer theme... doesnt seem so sporty...

a BALLADS is anew cover. It is not about being old or new. She has a lot of old covers that weren't symbolicat all. I'm just a bit tired to hear that every new thing from ayu has to be lower quality compared to her older stuff lol The song, the c/w, the arrangement, the lyrics, the instrumentals, the cover, the CD, the font, even ayu c'mon so much negativity LOL
