I know im probably the only one (given that the hype around her is huge right now), but lately I started losing interest in Namie. It looks like she lost all of the passion and heart in her songs. Yes, some of them are great, but most of the time they are Western pop singer rejects. I have been following Namie since she released Say the Word, and i have always enjoyed the western feeling of Namie´s music. But lately i don´t know, but i feel like she has nothing new to offer. And i think that FEEL is a good album, its just that I can imagine 30 western pop singers singing those songs, I see absolutely no personality in it. Its great that she is still popular and sells like crazy, but I would love it if she experimented a little bit more with her music, like she did after PLAY.

I feel you. FEEL is perfectly fine, it's a good album, nothing to say: but that's why I said I feel she didn't master the mainstream EDM pop yet. She managed nice, but it's different from making it completely yours. But I think she's going there too, she just needs time, and I guess she's having a great time trying! Her experimenting began with Uncontrolled, so she has all the time improving and putting her spark in this style as well.
