Step by step is still my favourite track, it is a very j-pop song, and the lyrics are great. Sayonara is great but some of SpeXial are terrible at singing... Urata Naoya would have been much better. Hope there's a solo version as a bonus track on the next single/album.

I think she has got a shot here. The album competition is pretty weak among this week's releases. 42.25, though, is a bit low compared to the past...

My main concern is if DREAMS COME TRUE can disrupt Ayu's sales, although V6 (a Johnny's group, also releasing a best album, 20th anniversary) just got #1 last week...

I'm mostly positive Ayu's going to get #1 here. DCT craze might have died down.

Dunno, no matter how many times I listened, I could not understand that she was saying "believe" because of her pronunciation.

Yup, miles better. I think her being married to Mannie, being BFFs with Timmy and then now being married to her current husband has probably contributed to this.

Just listened to the whole mini in full. Sky high sounds exactly like an ELT song circa 1999 or something. It's nice but unexciting. Shape of love is nice too in that languid Far Away kind of way. I can probably also enjoy Summer diary in some situations, like My all in concert encores.

I thought step by step was a bad song but Sorrows might just be even worse.

It's kind of disappointing to me that the bright points of her music these days are throwbacks to nostalgia and 90s pop. It's nice for a while but beyond that it's like, why do we even need these songs? They add absolutely nothing to her repertoire.

Anyway, still holding out for her to actually try and make more interesting music ala Colours and Party Queen.

It's weird. Seemes that sixxxxxx is having more advertisment than A ONE. I barely could find any stand of A ONE but here, just walking around, ayu was all of over the records shop. (In that one where I took the pics there were even Hanabi going through the speakers!)

Speaking about the album, I'm a little bit disappointed that the picutres from the booklet were revealed some days ago. There is only one new pic... I just finished to watch the making of and, oh god, Ayu is so funny and she seems so happy and relaxed! She has a new energy, she has renewed passion! The dramatic scene in the water of Summer Diary is even more sad in the making of. I literally cried...

There are currently 4 best albums in Oricon's Top 10. I think it's good enough if sixxxxxx managed to sell the most out of the original albums released today/tomorrow.

Honestly though, her English has gotten very good. I watched a performance she did with JJ Lin where she spoke in English for the crowd and I was pretty impressed!!! It's awesome!
