I think it's a current trend in Japan to wear mis-matched earrings. Or one huge earring and a stud/something simple. Anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

The designs are so dated looking. Looks right out of the late 90s/early 2000s. And not in the good retro kinda way.
