Taguchi Junnosuke Announces Debut Solo Album "DIMENSIONS"
Former KAT-TUN member Taguchi Junnosuke has announced that he will be releasing his first solo studio album, titled "DIMENSIONS", on September 13. The album will contain 11 songs, including new songs that have only been performed live up to this point. Songs with frank lyrics are also said to be on the album. 5 different versions of the album will be available upon release: a CD-Only Regular Edition, a CD-Only Limited Edition, 2 different CD DVD Limited Editions, and a Fan Club Limited Edition that comes with an LP. Nakamaru will be staging Nakamaru-kun no Tanoshii Jikan 2 in Oct - Nov & this's his 1st butai in 9 years

Kamenashi Kazuya & Kato Shigeaki To Star In 24h TV Drama Special
It has been announced that KAT-TUN member Kamenashi Kazuya and NEWS member Kato Shigeaki will star together in the annual 24h TV Drama Special. Titled “Jidai o Tsukutta Otoko Aku Yu Monogatari” it will air on August 26th. The drama will be based on the life of legendary lyricist, poet, and author Aku Yu. He is responsible for helping write the hits to many of Japan’s most beloved and successful pop songs. He has worked with Sakurada Junko , Pink Lady, Yamaguch Momoe i, and Iwasaki Hiromi among others. His works have sold over 68 million units in Japan alone, making him the second best selling lyricist of all time. Losing out to the creator of the AKB48 franchise Aki-p, who claims first place. Kamenashi will play the role of Aku Yu , While Katoi will play the role of Tokura Shunichi, a composer and lyricist who worked regularly with Aku. Kato commented that it’s an absolute honour to be appointed such a role. Kato further commented that he’s excited that a new generation of people will be exposed to many famous songs from the Showa era. Additionally, Kamenashi called Kato the perfect fit for the role. Their on screen chemistry came naturally, truly showcasing the professional relationship between Aku and Tokura.  Ueda Tatsuya (‘KAT-TUN’) is cast for the lead role in new TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Shinjuku Seven.” Ueda will also sing the theme song for the drama series. The drama series is based on manga “Shinjuku Seven” by Subaru Mizuki. This is the first lead acting role in a drama series for Ueda. In the drama series, Ueda will play pawn shop owner Nanase. He is an amazing appraiser and able to distinguish all fakes from originals.
