I personally don't celebrate Christmas & even though Christmas is not a public holiday in Japan , they take it seriously , just like Halloween

I just realized how much I love Christmas Wish, and how we won't get another one of these songs.

I sometimes hate when an artist goes out on a high note, but I'm also so glad that Namie has had the last 20+ years as a career. Namie did the unthinkable in Japan's music culture: She became a huge star twice. How she managed to completely reinvent her career and come back as the most popular solo female artist for a second run, I have no clue. But she managed it. And that's a pretty damn good note to go out on.
