Nope! Her last japanese song was GREAT! people who didn't get impressed by it weren't just enjoying ballads at the moment it was released or put way too much expectation awaiting for something very complex yet Hikki came with something simple, nice and smooth to listen to.

It was a FINAL DISTANCE wannabe, I thought the song was nice, but it still didn't impress me, and Moments was a fave at that time so I can't say I wasn't enjoying ballads.

I do like the idea of the lowering of price, just cause...well...I'm a cheap bugger.

Moments was perfect! However, even though Moments and "dareka no..." are ballads they are 2 completely different ballads. Moments is a power ballad, with loads of guitar and an upbeat feeel even though it is a ballad. "Dareka no...." was a slow ballad, the feature of the song is its simplicity. There are momments I'd rather be listening to something simple but nice to listen to then a complex song overloaded with a bunch of different instruments. Ayu usually likes to overcrowd her songs with lots of instruments but some of her simple songs can be pretty nice to listen to as well like "teddy bear". I wouldn't mind ayu doing a song like that in the near future, I really like easy to listen songs.
