Got the same vibes as one of Ayu's friends last year who drunk tweeted, basically telling haters to leave Ayu alone.

This seens more like someone trying to defend their friend of a horde of random people, and being a total asshole while trying to do so, than anything else. I wouldn't take it as a factual portrayl of how Ayu acted in Los Angeles because he was clearly trying to trash her.

The random fans who were stalking her unknown boyfriend to stir drama based on some meme he posted were IMO the worst on this situation.

That guy is super charming.....haha.... People act really differently than normal under pressure and we are all prone to being emotional. Ayu's English wasn't really good back then either, so if she was "crying all the time" it might have been stress or feeling like she wasn't being understood.

Mannie did post some meme image about a crazy ex girlfriend once, or reposted it from another page and everyone assumed it was about Ayu... At least for all the times we complained about Mannie it was just the weird book and some memes that he posted, he didn't go on Japanese TV and blame her for him needing to eat grass to survive.

I keep forgetting that she married Tyson as well..aah, he was also pretty quiet. I don't feel like either of them used her as much as Maro did.

I just came back from LA and have a little story.

Both my brother and his girlfriend work in the entertainment industry.
A friend of his girlfriend is Japanese, also in the industry, and met Mannie at a party back when Ayu and him were still married.

Mannie, knowing this woman to be Japanese, introduced himself, and then decided to say that his wife is Japanese and is super famous in japan. Then dropped her name.

Not anything juicy, but he obviously didn’t mind name dropping when convenient for him.

I don't think the namedrop necessarily means anything although it is interesting. Maybe Mannie mentioned her to establish some sort of familiarity or something?

I only meant it in the sense that, that friend complained about ayu being upset about her being a “nobody” yet Mannie is also introducing himself as Mr. Ayumi Hamasaki when it works in his favor. (Ayu wasn’t even at the party, he just randomly walked up to this friend and used Ayu as his entry point into the conversation.)

I’m not saying anyone’s at fault, but this “friend” of his is just being a hypocrite.

Anyway, this is old news. I just found it interesting how I just found out about both stories recently lol.
