Oh i am perfectly aware of that! What i'm saying is that everyone goes for those (edm, trance, hause or whatever they are) cuz that's the main idea of "remixes" it seams. I wish people would get out of that box more often and explore different genres cuz electronic stuff is what everyone goes for by default doesn't matter the SUBgenre of it, it's still electronic and sounds alike even if the nuances are different.

I understand what you're saying — people tend to default that remix = edm or dance.

Remixes such as the HAL remix of Ever Free, Fly High or Boys & Girls and the sleeperspaceborn From Your Letter remixes are my amongst my favourite because they totally reimagine the songs as original new music.
