Not sure how related it is but early in 2000 she started a colaboration with Honda's CREA scooter and she was featured on many ads and even a virtual Ayu was created for some posters (Invented Miku, her mind! lol) and later that year she composed her first song under that name (M) so again not sure if it's just a coincidence because it would be very random to choose your pseudonym from that but then again, Ayu sometimes it's kinda random
Also as you said, CREA could come from english "Creator" or spanish "Creador/a" or "Crear", and "Crea" is a common surname in some european countries such as Ireland (according to the internet, I'm not sure about that lol) This is such an interesting topic! I'm not sure if she ever talked about this
