I've read that "Rippin' up the Disco" is actually a bonustrack, like when you put X into your computer it lets you download that song. but it's not confirmed.

I read an amusing Kylie-related article from a free newspaper here , it's about a swedish pop singer Pandora & and the song "On A Night Like This" which she and Kylie have both recorded. link to article (in swedish)

the gitst of the article is that Pandora has been angry at Kylie for "stealing" On A Night Like This, eventho Pandora herself had originally rejected the song from her second album, but she claims she was planning to release the song in Australia (

). Kylie released it officially before Pandora after receiving the song from the songwriters.
and now Pandora says she's amused because according to her there's another "face-off" between her & Kylie because Kylie's X & Pandora's new remixed greatest hits album are released around the same time

Pandora is pretty smart tho , this is the only way she'll get the papers to write anything about her

Is "wow" confirmed to be the 2nd single? here "In My Arms" has shot up the charts , I was listening to the radio here today & it was the 2nd most requested song today. I was thinking maybe it's going to be the 2nd single ?

also Kylie's next world tour is going to come here to my country too , at next summer in June. too bad it's friday, the summer is really bad timing for me cos I work the weeks & most of the weekends and I can't really afford to take any time off from my work. not at least on friday ...

so I've been listening to X a lot, overall X is a great album but it's not perfect. I have a few minor gripes about the album (besides the obvious "2 Hearts" lol):

I feel Sensitized feels out of place, it's very Light Years-esque & feels a little dated on X. It's a ok song but I'm just not too fond of it.

Nu-Di-Ty should have been booted off the album, to appear as a B-side or something. one fergie/gwen-ish spastic track is enough and I very much prefer Heart Beat Rock.

All I See would have needed a little more work on the lyrics. this is a very mild annoyance & just bugs a me little bit cos All I See is still one of my favorites off the album , but the lyrics just are very RnB-cliche that really remind me of Janet Jackson and somehow just don't sound perfect for kylie. I prefer pop-cliche for kylie

The reason why I'm being negative with the album is that there's a big selection of leaked / bonus tracks so it's very easy to judge the album tracks against them

what do you all think about X?

I agree with all of this.
Magnetic Electric definately should have been on the album.. God that's a great song..

Does anyone know where I can d/l the 2 Hearts b-side King or Queen? I heard previews on iTunes and it sounds wicked, I'm dying to hear it!

Better than Body Language, not as good as Fever. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I count the leaked tracks that didn't end up on the album as part of X, though, and since some of them are among my current favourite Kylie tracks, that improves my opinion of X.

I like Bloodshy & Avant a lot too, but I still don't like Nu-Di-Ty

I'd rank X a lot better than Body Language, but it's just not as good as Fever.

I do have some gripes about Fever too: There's one track I have issues with. it's "Dancefloor" , I think the lyrics are too rhyme-y & the whole song is a bit blah compared to the rest of Fever. gonna lose it to the music - got my body gonna use it

My ideal Fever would have the brilliant "Good Like That" instead of the dull "Dancefloor", tho they're both on the japanese Hyper Edition so whatevs

My ideal X tracklist:

1. Like A Drug [4th & last single]
2. In My Arms [1st single]
3. Speakerphone
4. When The Cats Away (leaked demo)
5. Heart Beat Rock
6. The One [club single]
7. No More Rain
8. All I See
9. Stars [3rd single]
10. Wow [2nd single]
11. Feels So Good (leaked demo)
12. Cosmic
13. King & Queen (hidden track since the song is so short.)

Magnetic Electric & Ripping Up The Disco would be both downloadable with the cd, screw iTunes. I didn't want to add them to the tracklist just to keep it a bit more realistic.
I'd like to see Excuse My French too, but I sorta understand why Kylie & co keep denying the song even exists since people would think the song is about her french ex-boyfriend and unlike so many other artists Kylie doesn't make her private life in to a spectacle just to entertaint the masses ...
Kylie having a hidden track isn't completely out of the question, Dannii had a hidden track on Girl (Coconut) & on Neon Nights (Come & Get It remix).

I also picked out the singles. Club single would be just a maxi-cd with remixes & no music video. Speakerphone might also be 2nd club single.

I'm curious to hear if anyone else has a realistic vision of how X should have ideally been?

That's pretty close to my ideal tracklist, but I'd choose Lose Control, Fall for You and White Diamond over Speakerphone, When the Cat's Away and King & Queen (can't remember hearing Feels So Good).

this is Kylie's "I Should Be So Lucky" with kylies voice pitch lowered digitally, and it sounds a lot like Rick Astley ...

I'm thinking it's a trick , that rick astley actually has sung this song or something
