Asia tour 07 in taiwan
Under many's expectations, Avex's no 1 singer Ayumi will be singing in Taibei's xiao ju dan in March, and it has been long since she visited Taiwan [about 5years]

It has ben Ayu's wish to sing in Taiwan especially since (miss)understood sold well in Taiwan, being the top in many charts. She said before; "I have never expected Taiwan fans to be so supportive of her, I wish to go to Taiwan." And she has already announced in her recent CNN interview that she will be having an Asia Tour from March to June.

To their knowledge, Ayu has already signed the contract. expecting to perform in Taibei in MArch, venue is still under discussion, and she will be heading to different places such as Shanghai and Hong Kong for her tour, accompanied with her usual stunning style, grand stage design to let her fans enjoy. Yesterday, someone released this info - her coming, but she also said, "Details are still under discussion."

Ayu has arrived in Hong Kong today for Confessions of Pain's premier but it's only for 1 day. The organising company has reserved the entire level, and allowing her to stay in a 360k president suite in addition of 30 other stylist, security guards, treating her like a queen. Though Ayu's sales has been declining, new album Secret's popularity is not that high, and her contract with Avex will end next year, Avex stil has high hopes on her, treating her with the best, Avex's president himself even accompanied her to Hong Kong, and this has been seen has his sincerity to continue with Ayu's contract.

March! nice..Now we noe whats going on in March...i hope she comes south in May...hehe make SG your first SEA country!

truely, she is gaining lots of popularity outside Japan which is very gd...going global now...

and i hope Avex's high hopes dont go down the drain...im sure the Asia Tour will bring in money...

and i hope she doesnt just visit one place in one month...

contract ending next year?!?!?! i'm sure ayu's having this concert to prepare for the worst... to (just in case) show the whole asia wad she had achieved from the pass 8/9 yrs for the last time... although i REALLY don hope that she would retire, i'm prepaing myself for the worst as well...

Contract ends next year...this can't be happening...only after 9 years rather than 10...

They will definately extend the contract, if it really expires next year... extend it up to at least the 10th year, so they can do something big for the 10th anniversary...

Thanks for the news.

So far, for the Asia Tour, seems they're only mentioning the areas near China--is Ayu planning on also visiting Korea and other Asian countries? o_o

Yeah. I think avex contracts are for 3 years or something.
1998~2001 -> 2001: A BEST end of career thing
2001~2004 -> 2004: Ayu threatening to leave after Max was kicked out etc.
2004~2007 -> 2007: Asia tour

nah, Avex won't kick her out. ayu earns too many money for them, they will lose more money if ayu is gone.

anyway, now that it's confirm she's going to Taiwan, Singaopore sounds more and more likely of a choice!!! please please please come here!!!!!!

It would be an incredibly stupid move for Avex to not extend her contract seeing as how she's been their top seller for eight years now. One album slumping isn't going to condemn her chances for an extended contract. At least let's hope not.

omg.. it would be a loss for the music industry if she really retire.. she is to jpop wat the clown is to mac donald.. v symbolic.. (i know macdonald isnt a v gd example.. but i guess its well known enuff..)
