Yesterday was V6's 20th anniversary & in addition , it was the last date of their V6 LIVE TOUR 2015 -SINCE1995 ~ FOREVER tour

A.B.C-Z's Totsuka Shota was the MC of the last tour date of V6 & ARASHI served as backup dancers for V6 when they performed TAKE ME HIGHER

Nikkei unveils their concert mobilisation power ranking for 2015

Every year popular magazine Nikkei Entertainment releases a series of Power Rankings which arrange musical artists and other celebrities according to varying different criteria such as familiarity or interest.

Keeping with tradition, the magazine's December issue contains its yearly survey on concert attendance in Japan, ranking acts based on the overall amount of people whom attended their performances over the course of the past year.

The 2015 ranking was topped by long-running pop/rock band Mr.Children, whose “REFLECTION” Arena Tour and “Mikan” Stadium Tour brought in a combined 1,119,000 concertgoers (according to overall venue capacity) over the course of 36 different dates.

Second and third place went to popular idol group ARASHI (1,035,000 attendees from 21 dates) and dance/vocal unit Sandaime J Soul Brothers (1,002,000 attendees from 21 dates) respectively.

Arashi to host this year's Johnny's countdown live

Johnny's annual countdown live will be held on December 31st at Tokyo Dome. The concert will be hosted by Arashi and it will live broadcast via Fuji TV.

This year's countdown live will feature a special medley by KinKi Kids, who celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2016. Hey! Say! JUMP will also join the event from their own countdown live, which will be held at the same time at Kyocera Dome Osaka.

This will mark Arashi's first time appearing at the event since 2009. Member Aiba Masaki commented, "I have a feeling we will be able to have the best end to 2015 and the best start to 2016 with the best members!"

That's not one - but two - good news I'm glad to hear about!
1. It's almost certain this year's Kouhaku's white team will NOT be hosted by Arashi. FINALLY! I've been waiting for ages for this! (Although it could be another Johnny's member, hearing rumours a member of V6 taking charge.)
2. The REAL Johnny's Countdown is COMING BACK!!! I mean, what a disaster last year...will Arashi bring some energy back in Johnny's Countdown after a disastrous 2014-15 Countdown? I can't wait for this!
