I do agree with you about straying so much from the original composition of a song to market it to a broader audience. Sometimes I like for the originals to be left as is for the most part, hence why I typically don't like remixes or listen to them. But it is interesting to hear different versions of a song because sometimes they turn out awesome.

Anyways, my mom preordered Girls' Generation - All About Girls' Generation "Paradise in Phuket" 6DVD + Photobook set last night for my birthday! I can't wait to get it! I didn't know about SNSD in the beginning of their career so to be able to experience seeing them in the early stages of the career is a real treat!

The secret behind Yuri's solid abs, which have been hot topic lately, was revealed through SBS's "Midnight TV Entertainment" on June 9th.

During the broadcast, Yuri's trainer Lee Youngman revealed, "Yuri started exercising to make her body perfect in preparation for the Europe and Japan tours."

He added, "First, she followed a perfect diet, followed by aerobic exercises." The diet revealed by the trainer consisted of seasonal vegetables, brown rice, broccoli, and grilled chicken breast.

He also revealed the exercise to get the abs. After putting your legs on a beam, you place both hands on either side of your chest, and sit up and lay back down, while constantly keeping your upper body tense (Editor's Note: He's basically talking about crunches/sit-ups). He also revealed, "Yuri would do 600 of these every day," surprising everyone.

^^Yeah I love it too. It's the song that got me into SNSD. If they had a Japanese version they could include some of the original English lyrics in the demo version. I'd love it~

^As much as I would rather have newer songs rather than remakes of their older songs, I would definetely love it if they released a Japanese version of Oh!, especially the demo version! It also makes me wish that they released the demo version of Genie in Japanese too rather than the original version!

I received my posters in the mail this morning (the ones that come with the limited pressing and deluxe limited edition versions of their album) and I absolutely love them! They are so gorgeous, I can't pick which one I like better! I can't wait to receive the albums in the mail! They should arrive next week so I'm super excited!

that's the concert version. it's closer to the demo than the original one but it's still different

It's the rock tronic remix. I can tell they are really tired and hardly putting any effort into that performance. They aren't even singing live. Yuri looked awkward. Not sexy at all.

Thanks for clarifying ladies. I knew something was different about it from the original version but at the same time, it didn't sound completely like the demo version, which is why I asked. As far as their performance, I also think that they look quite tired as well (I can see it all in their eyes). I can tell they're doing the best they can considering their circumstances. Hopefully they'll get some good rest tonight.
