^ I'm not sure.. it's propably just sampling then. I guess I missunderstood what somebody said long time ago and it made me think that way.
And in Love or Lies I've hear that oh-eh-oh voice being used in one other song. |

Woohoo! Release party tonight at ageHa! I'm running around the house cleaning up before I get ready to go, and I'm blasting my new copy of PLAYER...which is probably bothering the neighbors. Oh well!
Shall report back tomorrow...unless I get drunk out of my mind and can't remember anything~ |

Oh my god...that was one of the most epic nights of my life
I haven't had that much fun in such a long time! So, my friend and I kind of overestimated how much time we'd need to get there and ended up getting to the club at about 10, and doors didn't open until 11. There was already a line so we figured we'd be better off waiting, even though we really wanted to find some convenience store and stand under the heater. (It was about -4 outside, windy, and we were in heels/minidresses. COLD.) They finally started letting us in a few minutes before 11~No pictures or anything like that, they were SUPER strict with cameras...we were all frisked before going in and my camera had to spend the night in a coin locker. Bummer, too, because we were right at the front! When we first got inside, there was a female DJ spinning, and I feel like I've seen her somewhere before, but I'm not sure...anyway, she was really good, and she put Factory into her set, which got the crowd going a bit. Her set was from 11 to 12, and at 12 another DJ took over....oh my god, he is the hottest man I've seen in a long time. And an AMAZING DJ. ageHa already took the lineup for last night off the website, so I need to email them to find out his name so I can stalk him. He was on from 12 to 1, and at 1 two male DJs took over and continued to pump everybody up. We were right in the front; my friend was up against the barrier and I was behind her so her tiny 90-pound self wouldn't get destroyed by all the people shoving forward.Fiiiiinally, after what felt like an eternity (and about 2 hours after I gave in and took my heels off), Nakata came on (may I just say: oh my GOD he's so sexy. ) at 2 and started spinning, and everyone went crazy...he's amazing with crowds, seriously. And such an incredible DJ, it blew my mind. He played one of the non-Toshiko tracks, and then she came out onto the tiny stage they had set up in front of the massive DJ booth. She was SO CUTE! And her hair is too perfect; I'm convinced it's a wig. She wore a strapless dress: the top of it was black, with a really cute belt, and the skirt was white with black polka dots, and she had on some fierce black wedge boots with buckles. The mosh pit became, like, deadly at this point, and it didn't really calm down after that. D: It hurt. But was so worth it! When Nakata played non-capsule tracks or tracks where she didn't sing, she would go behind the DJ booth with him and dance around and drink her Heineken. capsule's first set lasted an hour and a half, and IIRC they did every song from PLAYER except for I was Wrong. They also did Starry Sky, Sugarless GiRL, More More More, and some other songs that I can't remember. Crowd favorites from PLAYER were definitely Stay With You and Love or Lies (my favorite!) During one of the songs (I don't remember which, but I do remember that Toshiko was back in the DJ booth) right when the chorus kicked in they turned on these crazy jets of pressurized air in the ceiling, and it was like you were engulfed in a tornado! That coupled with the fog and the lights and the music and the moshing was just...oh my god, it was nuts. At 3:30 Nakata handed the reigns over to another DJ who I didn't care too much for...but then, Nakata's a pretty hard act to follow. His set was an hour long, and at 4:30 another DJ came on. My friend left around 5 to go back to my place and sleep, and though I was tempted to go with her I noticed there were 4 confetti cannons on stage and only 2 had gone off during their first set, so I stayed. I wasn't disappointed! 5:30 rolled around and Nakata and Toshiko came back on, and the mosh pit was not quite as intense that time...I think everyone was too tired or happily drunk to be aggressive and push their way to the front. They played for half an hour, cannons went off again, and around 6 they finished...but of course, they were called back out for an encore: Sugarless GiRL. I was right in the front for their second set and Toshiko spent a lot of time on the side of the stage that was right in front of me, and whenever I saw her looking over I would smile up at her and she would smile back. She's so cute, I can't stand it! I can't tell if she was smiling at me because I was smiling at her, or if she was amused by how difficult it was for me to keep the top of my dress from falling down... 6:20 I finally made it outside again, saw daylight, and made my way home. My feet were sore, my voice was dead, I was super tired, but oh my god I was so happy. It was truly an epic night. TL;DR version: capsule can throw one HELL of a party. And now I'm going to stalk Nakata at his bi-monthly DJ sessions at club asia~ |

I can't remember if it was 3,000 yen or 3,500 yen...either way, it was the best 3(0-5)00 yen I ever spent! If you ever get the chance to see them live, definitely do it!

I LOVE YOOOOOU. I literally collapsed into bed as soon as I got home and didn't have the energy to dig any deeper than ageHa's website. ![]() So the hot one was Yosuke Hiroyama, who (come to find out) is apparently brothers with the annoying DJ that did his set after Nakata! Who'd have thought. I'm very sad that in all the pictures I've found of Yosuke, he does not look attractive...at allllll. He was smokin' IRL. |

Omg, I still can't get out of bed...my legs are sore and covered in bruises, and my feet refuse to hold my body up. xD But it was so worth it! It's funny...going to the show completely changed how I listen to the album. Now whenever I listen to PLAYER I think back to the live arrangements and the energy of the whole night, and it's a whole different listening experience.
I remembered a few other songs they did: Glider (the mix from Flash Best), jelly, JUMPER...and some other ones that I may never remember. D: |

![]() They played Sugarless GiRL twice; the second time during the encore was the only arrangement I've heard before (the album version) but when they first played it, during their first set, I hardly recognized it...the bridges and verses were kind of shuffled and the arrangement was TOTALLY different. Is there a recorded, re-arranged version I don't know about? |

maybe you were listening to Sugarless Girl from the remix album? but after all it's so cool for you to attend the party. You should take a photograph with nakata if the club allows you to take photos. I've seen other people took a photo with him

Yeah, the club's sound system, and really the whole atmosphere made it totally awesome. I hope you get the chance someday to experience something like it. I'm really glad I could go! And I'm definitely going to make more of an effort to get down to Nakata's regular DJ gigs at places like Daikanyama Air or club asia in Shibuya. I was sad they didn't let cameras into the club last night, but I wouldn't have had a chance to meet him anyway...he was always in the back of the DJ table or in a back room with the other DJs when they weren't performing. I even stuck my copy of PLAYER and a sharpie into my purse just in case he and Toshiko were out mingling with the crowd, but no such luck...I'd love to meet him! Since Air and club asia are slightly smaller venues, I think I'd have more luck there...I shall keep trying. After all, the night I met VERBAL, I wasn't expecting anything, I just went to a random party/event thing in Roppongi with some friends and WHAM! Celebrity encounter. Maybe I'll be as lucky with Nakata. ![]() Forgot to add: My poster is spending the night on the kitchen floor underneath a pile of heavy books so it'll flatten out and I can hang it up~ Even though I just bought my copy of the album yesterday, Tower Records still gave me a poster.
