●くぅちゃんからのメッセー ジ 夏シングルとしては、2006年 の『4 hot wave』以来、７年 振りの海外で、そして屋外で の撮影でした。 ジャケット写真では、 “夏”がダイレクトに伝わる ものにしたいと思い、LAとい う場所の開放感だったり、海 の綺麗さだったり、ファッ ションもそこに合ったものを チョイスして撮影しました。 体の露出が多い撮影だったの で、この日に合わせてダイ エットに追い込みをかけて頑 張りました。 “LALALALALA”と“TOUCH DOWN”のMUSIC VIDEOはLA で撮影して、メイク以外は、 ほぼ現地のスタッフの方々 だったんですが、皆さんいろ んな意見も出してくれるし、 私の意見も尊重してくれて取 り入れてくれるし、撮影を やっていく中で、どんどん ミュージックビデオが進化し て良いものに仕上がっていく 感じがとても刺激的で、とて も楽しかったです！その楽し んでいる感じや、新しいもの にも挑戦した感じが、どちら のミュージックビデオからも 感じとれると思うので、そこ を感じでいただければと思い ます。

●Message from Kuu: As always with the summer singles since "4 hot wave" in 2006; in July I went abroad to film music videos. In the jacket photo I wanted to covey the image of summer directly; I chose to give off the feeling of a place like LA, with a beautiful ocean and fashion to match. Most of the photoshoots involved me exposing my body, so I tried really hard to keep up with my diet! The music video for LALALALALA and TOUCH DOWN were shot in LA, and everything was done on site, except for the make up. When we were filming, the staff gave me various opinions, and respected my own opinions, so we were gradually able to progress with making the music video and the finish touches. It was a very stimulating and fun experience! Along with these fun feelings, I had to battle with new things too, like what feelings to give off in which music video, and I want you all to be able to feel these emotions too.

●Message from Fatima Robinson (music video director): Koda Kumi as a performer is really amazing. As soon as we started filming she started shining! I've been doing my job for a number of years, but Kumi's body is really flexible, I was surprised! Even though she gave birth a little while ago, it was amazing how well she could dance. During the filming of "LALALALALA" it was cold but Kumi had a lot of patience performing, along with joining in with the street performers that we came across (the street performance wasn't staged). I wanted to try and film in Kumi's shadow to make it more natural. Kumi is an amazing performer, and she is the type of person to give me many crazy ideas and answers, so even as a director I learned lots of new things, and I would definitely like to work with her again.
