AT08 schoolgirl outfit/cute look was pure heaven. A BEST LIVEs whole "nerdy hipster" take on it was not.

Also, the 10th anni CDL with her adorable bob and schoolgirl outfit was another home run for me.

Dude, the uniform she wore at that CDL was totally hot.
The hipster thing and the overdone cuteness ruined this one for me, but oh well.

I watched the A BEST LIVE DVD yesterday, and when I watched those cute-sy performances I actually got the thought in my head that maybe they're meant to parody the "quirky" and "awkward" hipster/nerd girls-trend. Or maybe I'm over-thinking it and she just wanted a fun and cheery set of performances there.
Anyway, I was a bit disappointed by this tour, to be honest. It didn't feel like it had a consistent red thread (I know it's "BEST" LIVE, but the transitions between different sections could have been a lot better, in my opinion) and as a consequence, it didn't connect to me as much on an emotional (or aesthetic) level. I think I got spoiled by AT12 HOTEL Love songs in those senses, that tour resonated a lot better with me.

So I just skip forward near the end of A BEST LIVE and noticed ayu's dancers has changed a lot lol, I'm so behind.

And they are now being sold in 100 yen stores now until they're completely gone?

I can understand why. I have two diff versions and both felt cheap, even worse when it cost about three times as much as other well known brands. But 100yen store?! Ouch!
