It is not doing really well in Korea, that's a fact. 4minute is big but at the same time they aren't. HuH/IMMM era was their peak but CUBE didn't took advantage of it. What's your name was their lucky hit and with WDT they tried again but it failed. Crazy was pretty good and it did really well but now Hate (promotional and mini album) is one step back.

About their contracts I think they will renew. Only a strategy of marketing like 2NE1 did with I Love You, I hope so.

I think Hate chorus is really similar to Crazy. I like the verses and the arrangement, Skrillex did an OK job.

4minutes had their 4 minutes and it was at the beginning of their career (first 2 mini-albums and 1st full album), the rest is just trying to stay on music market surface.

Cube fucked up, to be honest. they do more planning, promotion and image work with Hyuna, but they neglect the group.

Kpop industry is messed up. It is proven once again that it doesn't really matter if the song is good, as long as the group or some member is really popular. For example, how the hell did Party by SNSD get #1 on the charts? If it isn't because of the popularity of the group, then I don't know what else. The song is garbage. Also, Gfriend's crappy comeback is also very succesful. And great songs like Sting by Stellar, Someone like U by Dal Shabet and Hate by 4minutes rank really low..

That's a rumour made up by western fans who state that they flopped with "Hate", which is not true. 4Minute said it is time for them to leave the "idol" behind and be seen as "artist". I don't think they care that much for #1 anymore.

First Sulli leaves f(x), KARA disbands, then Minzy leaves 2NE1, who
knows what's happening with After School and now this...

If it's true that 4minute is done,
I really can't say that I'm shocked just disappointed......really disappointed. At least we still have Hyuna.
