Very good considering that Ayu is NOT an international artist like The Beatles, Britney Spears, Madonna and so on. Plus she only had 7 albums.

NOTE: That person who messed up the board an put Ayu #1 is very lame.

ok...whoever put ayu at #1 is just dumb, n if ur gonna change the list, at least delete the old ranking, ayumi is BOTH at #1 n at #210....same for the person who put andy lau w/48M records sold, n i doubt that this "wei wei" person sold 120M, its just highly impossible in china, i mean back then, most of the ppl in china were so poor that they couldnt afford to buy a cd

Um...no. Not if Utada sold more of her stuff than Ayu's altogether.

Also... this list is sells EVER!! (Like back to when music began) And for an artist only being around since 1995 thats amazing.

Also... if you look. This chart only compiles original albums sales. Not remix albums, singles or dvd sales.
