ayaka is good! when i first heard mikadzuki, i wasnt very fond of it..
but when i saw her performin that song in kouhaku(and that show was played her ein malaysia), i was totally amazed! i went straight to my computer n listen to the song again n looked for the lyrics..i love her voice n the emotion behind the song.. personally, i like Mikadzuki bette rthan I Believe ;">

They just showed figure skater Miki Ando skating to "I Believe" by ayaka on ESPN in the USA, AND they showed a split second of ayaka performing the song while Miki skated

Did anyone watch the ayaka X Kobukuro performance on MUSIC FAIR21 last month? She sang "I LOVE YOU" in 1 of them and personally I think it was better than Mika's cover.

Oh, dearest ayaka. In like... a week, she has climbed from "Eh, she's pretty okay..." to "OMG, I'M SUCH A FAN!"-status in my eyes.
The first I ever heard from her was the Kouhaku performance of Mikazuki. That is just... amazing. In the meantime, she also became the first JPop singer I ever saw on a TV broadcast - during the figure skating WC gala. So she's secured a special place inside my... heart.  [/cheesefest]And now it's time for Jewelry day which is one of the ultimate ballads for me. I mean, it's up there in the ranks with the likes of Dareka no Negai ga Kanau koro and Be My Last... if that isn't saying something, what is?  I also got her album but I haven't given it a listen just yet. Still, with the two songs I've heard of her, she's already in my top 5, if not top 3. o____o;

ANYWAY.
One Of The Greatest Songs Ever Written, also known as Jewelry day charted at #2 in it's first week with sales of 38,635. Mikazuki had first-week sales of 40k and sold 240k+ in the long run. I realize something as drastic as that is not likely to happen, but 100k? I have no idea.
