Ayu's self owned albums?

normally artists will get a free copy for themselves, or even they can take more as gifts to friends/family. but some don't keep their own stuff.

But, i have a feeling ayu don't....or why would she have to check out the internet to downoad her own songs and lyrics???? i was like '.......' when i first read that

I would imagine she has at least one copy of every single release she's ever done. As an artist I guess she can look at it as sort of what she's accomplished over the years.

we wouldn't be shut down. if you mean by the downloads, then those threads are invisible to guests. and I don't think ayu would be willling to sign up to a site about herself to find out.

we wouldn't be shut down, avex surely knows about this forum and downloads section as well.
I remember someone here said that avex emailed admin of ayu.no asking to take away some pic of Ayu from the first page, but on the same first page was download link to NEXT LEVEL full album and they didn't say anything about that.
Well illegal downloads at fan-sites are not worst thing about piracy

I'm sure that avex has special department which googles internet every day about their singers and actually they founding a tons of illegal download links. But they would go crazy trying to delete each link. They're really working hard deleting stuff from youtube^^

Avex probably also realizes, most hard core fans that actually join a fan site, are more likely to buy the single/or album legally from an online site or a store. Of course there is the fair share of the people on here/and on the internet itself that download illegally not considering the fact they are killing their favorite artist by not supporting them. - Of course I realize that some people are underage and don't have the money to buy such CD's, I remember back when I was young though, If I wanted a CD or something my parents would consider buying it for me. - Adding to my claim of people underage, yet I find it funny the some of the most popular artists in the world are usually kid stars such as High School Musical/Hannah Montana, which must mean somewhere down the line kids are buying music. So hmm it really makes me wonder, if they can dish out money for that crap, why cant they dish out money for Ayumi? (of course i doubt there is any actual "HSM/HM" fans on this site, lol) !

Well considering that most people get their Japanese albums from online websites, the cost of shipping/etc would make it hard for someone to buy if they don't have the money to buy it, or even if they do have the album, it's a lot cheaper to buy for an artist they support and they can get it at a local store~

But I think Avex can't do anything to AHS because we're not stationed in Japan?

Ah I found the thread! It vaguely answers the question. She used to never buy her own CDs, then one day she decided to download them?! Rather vague..she downloaded her songs..and maybe she buys them now?

Recently I discovered that downloading song can be so much fun. Althought I have bought a lot of music before, but it is my very first time buying my own CD. My house used to lack CDs performed by me and I would never listen to my songs inside my house. Then one random day I suddenly feel and urge of listening to my songs and I tried hard to download it. After that I thought, "Ohhhh, I sang about these kind of things before..."

From old songs to new releases. But there are some songs which was made during the "Duty" and "Memorial Address" era; those songs which were released when I was super busy. When I finally listened to it, I have a wierd feeling that it was not my song, but somebody else's.

A lot~~~ (laughs). I would feel like the performer was like a tidal wave! But sometimes I can't hear the lyrics very well, and I just can't memorize it even when I tried to keep up with the CD, so I ended up searching for the lyrics of my own song on the internet (giggles)

I think it's because I wanted to get serious again. I would not be afraid to inspect myself from outside to inside. I find that interesting, too.
