supposedly white eyeliner makes the eye pop out more and I agree

I always love ayu's make up in lives,
she makes it look like she's not wearing any.
She always uses that nude makeup

In photoshoots I love the make up also but they don't only uses make up
they also use photoshop and sometimes it comes out a disaster

She started using fake lashes more often, and nowadays her eyes are completely outlined with eyeliner, in comparison to how they were for most of her career.

^ I might have to agree with you, ever since she went with RIMMEL she looks kinda different.

Imo, I don't like her makup lately. Its too heavy.

I think she looks her best in AT2008 and PCDL where her makeup is light and nude color. Even the 2009 cover makeup looks good.

I'm just waiting for the day where she do a concert or do a photoshoot all natural without makeup! I think she looks beautiful naturally.

performance #23 was the worst she looked. and i have never liked her looks after she got tanned. it looks really unnatural on her.

her recent make up look much more simple to me. and it made her look even more fairer and glamourous.
fake eyelashes was something that she has always been using, and that's because she has big eyes but not long eyelashes. and i don't see a problem to that. the eye liner looks fine to me too. =]

becaues white eyeliners are going out? LOL I remember the fashion storm of white eyeliners. lining up at the bottom, then a black liner outside of the white liner makes your eyes look bigger, so rounder. I tried. it does work hahaha. but then as the year passes by... I got lazy.. and my makeup limites to only foundation recently hahaha.

Maybe AYu got lazy as well? You know, we all have to change.. I dont' think anyone likes to see ayumi dressing up and putting on makeup like the past... how will she look standing next to other girls.. O_O

I think recently, the started to outline her nose too...
And the biiiiiig lashes dont really work for her...
Of course, the color contacts also make us look at her differently.

I actually liked her younger days (back when she was starting out). She looked so fresh, innocent, and just...well, Ayu-ish. I believe she has gotten more "glamorous", as some put it. But I feel kind of sad with this change, because she does not need all of this make-up!

ayu's make up in 2008-2009 is heavy....n glams....

I personally don't like her make-up style from 08-now...over use of fake eyelashes, thickness of eyeliner, lipliner making her lips more full, thin eyebrows, and summer of 2009 the upper line of her double eyelids faded so sometimes she looks like she has single eyelid.

I prefer her with less make-up...I think she is naturally beautiful and doesn't need all that make-up. Nowadays I prefer looking at her TA entry pics more.

Honestly, it's a more mature look.
She graduated from the gal look (big eyes, pastel colours) for a mor mature and feminine look.

I still prefer the 2006-2007 style, but she looks great always to me.
