From this list, I'm gonna have to say Chihiro Onitsuka

But I believe KOKIA has the most beautiful voice. That woman has such an amzing range its unbelievable. IMO, in terms of vocals NONE of these artists come near her.

Her voice touch me every time and every time when i listen to Te wo Tsunagou i have tears in my eyes.

But melodys. voice is beautiful, too. Especially in her Lei aloha album.

I voted for Ayu. I love her voice, it's so versatile. She can calm me down with her vocals in RAINBOW or get me energized with her vocals in Startin'. I know a lot of people will say that its the arrangement that makes those songs the way they are, but when I listen to them, I pay attention to Ayu and the way she sounds. The arrangement is secondary to me.

I also love Hikki's vocals, but I would argue that they are less versatile. They only shine when she is in her element.

Her voice is just the way it is and I extreamnly love it.
